I know this was 4 years ago, but I have a cowlick bad on the back of my head, and what I do is a cross grain, so basically from the side of my head go all the way around. Hope that helps.
The thing i learned to do with shaving the cowlick is go in both directions and see which way the hair grows in because for the longest i used to miss the spot or spend 10 minutes trying to get it. Now i learned to shave to the left because thats how the hair grows on my cowlick is.

JKnowledge Thanks for the input! Glad you’re heard my complaint about mine.
Hey bro it’s Jon keep it going bro 😎
Hey Jon, do I know you bro?
You go against the grain? I don’t even do that on my face! Can’t imagine what it’s like to do on your head 😯
invisiblekid69 I like it smooth as possible! But it’s not for everyone
Kevin J. Rawson do you shave against the grain on your face? I’m really curious if shaving your head and face is the same.
@@Invis_Space head and face is not same
Hair on the scalp is softer than the whisker hair of the face. Against-the-growth shave on the head is very easy to do.
Has anyone ever told you that you kinda look a little like Andy Samberg from Brooklyn 99

Never, lol
Head hair is different then a men's beard hair..
Yes. That is why razor strokes against the growth on the head is much easier to do than on the face. The head hair is much softer.
