The fact that you did the edging that was not part of the deal indicates how dedicated you are to performing a FIRST CLASS job. My hat is off to you, dude!
I like the way you clean the edging, ,and throwing ,putting the cut edge into the trash ,unlike what I saw from others, when they spaded the cut edges back to the lawn. But you take time to sweep ,gathered the refused and place them in the trash can .then finally use the blower to take away the remaining dirt and dust
That is seriously thick Bermuda grass! Tough as nails and a pain to deal with. Not sure who got the best workout, you or the edger. If owner can afford that nice white fence he can afford to do right by you on paying up for job.
This doesn’t seem very polite or logical. Maybe the owner bought the house years ago and the fence came already installed. Now the owner could have come across hard times for whatever reason and just can’t pay (if this was a free job)…if it’s a paid job then maybe the owner just wasn’t that worried about it and it didn’t bother him…some people are happy with a half-a**ed job (I don’t get it either…if it’s going to get done then it should be done right). But it looks soooo much better now either way.
Wow! The front sidewalk edging and the curb/gutter edging really needed that BIG beast edger, mate. Like trying to chop through millions od 6-strand rope! Good on you, Tim and beastly edger. Lotta work with fabulous results! 👌
The best edger, used when it first came out to edge the bunkers then the bigger bladed edger came out. Used Atom edgers for all edges. The cleanest looking edges and simple to use.
Your OCD suits me fine. I love your perfectionism. When I watch some of the other guys, they don't do it as well as you. I would never criticize the work you do, coz I couldn't do it. You're a machine man. In some strange way it's really satisfying and relaxing watching somebody do the work. Well done and thanks.
So good of you to do the edging ,very hard job .looks so nice ,a very much improvement ,when it wasn't part of the deal .God bless your giving heart in all u do .
You work darned hard and do amazing work Tim. If I was your boss (I know you're your own boss lol), I'd give you a bonus AND a big raise! I LOVE your videos. Love the camera shots, the comments you make and the great work you do!
Man, that is super thick edges. Took you a lot of time & effort to sort it out. Looks like it hasn’t been done in years. Is it laziness, trying to save fuel, or just can’t be bothered. Probably all 3, I bet they didn’t tell you about it? Great job Tim. I was just thinking that’s a whole wheelie bin full of edge clippings, 😱 then you got in & jumped on it😂 Oh, now only half a bin. 🥰👍🏼
Reminds me of all the edges on my property that hadn't been cleaned up for 10plus years. I cant really blame the elderly previous owner but she had 5 sons who could have sorted it out once in a while..

As an ex-groundsman who had a whole School and attached church that took a whole block, with over 26km of edging around the entire public footpath and all the internal paths, not including borders for plants, my best weapon was a Kawasaki 4 stroke edger the walk behind with 3 wheels one - it is very versatile, councils used to use them a lot, it is a great tool, but not many seem to use them... have a look and see if great edges are your thing - with that , and after blowing and hosing, the school always looked like a painting that someone had used black texta to highlight the edges - but always easier to maintain than initially recover like your great effort here... Those strips you cut off would also be great for patching up damaged spots... I know it was mowing, not gardening, but good strips of healthy turf... lay them in, cover in topsoil, water daily...
Awesome job of edging. There’s nothing worse than the grass looking good and the edging not touched. The job is only half done. It’ll make the job easier next time you mow this yard and I’m sure they will want you to come back. It looked like it has never been edged.
You did so much extra works but it was so worth it. Turned out beautifully. I'm worried about the long-term effects on your poor feet (because that’s just what Grandmas do 😊) and wonder if using one of those flat edged shovels to chuck away the edge-cut grass would be helpful. Someone else I follow uses it and it seems easier. Anyway, great job❣️👌👏💯
That’s a good reason you should take a look at the job before committing. Trimming that sidewalk was a lot of additional work. Hope you mentioned it to the owners. I hope he paid you extra!
Hi Tim Great video that was a lot of work on edging. You must’ve been pretty tired out. But what I found unusual is your edger I have never seen anything like that before. Again thank you for doing such a great video. Hello from the Texas Hill country.
Ahhhh! There it is. The nice sharp edge of a sidewalk. It really makes the job look professional. You have a pretty heavy duty edger. I've never seen one like that. The ones I see are like a weed whacker but have the blades that you have on your edger. Much more compact. Is the one you have easy on your back?
That red edger machine is very impressive. Be cautious about kicking sidways like that to remove the thick cut grass. It is a good way to blowout your knees.
that,s a lot of cuttings on the edge of things but once it,s tackled and trimmed to perfection it,s really worth the effort and i can see in your case there was a very overgrown type of grass on the gutters and all etc but still a grouse job mate.
Going back and catching up on videos I have missed. Wow! Those edges were awful! I was wondering if you had steel toes in those boots? You surely needed them here! Love your work, keep on sending videos my way! ❤
The fact that you did the edging that was not part of the deal indicates how dedicated you are to performing a FIRST CLASS job. My hat is off to you, dude!
Thanks Rex, I can't leave them looking like that
That edging was no easy task! Look how full the yard waste bin was.
Those edges were a nightmare. Wonderful job.
Your right Tim a job just isnt complete until the edging and trim work are done. Great job it really looked good.
thanks so much Vicky!

WOW! There is an entire lawn from these edges...
hahahaha
As I rewatch...I'm wishing you had a flat edged shovel to scrape all that edging debris! Still a great job!
Slept in...again. I love my atom edger, they certainly get the job done even on the most over grown edges. Good job Tim.

I don't know how they get this thick, if it's from top dressing or was the turf too high to start with. Takes a long time to get like that
Tim your very dedicated yo your job! Enjoy watching your videos!👍great job as usual !
Thanks again Laura!
What a huge difference!
Sure is!
Your Achilles and heel came very close to that spinning edger blade, be careful out there buddy.
thank you

That edging was very satisfying to watch.
Awesome!
Thats not edging. That's cutting sod.
You're right!
That grass looks like it was so tuff that you could have used a dam chainsaw to get through it. Amazingly satisfying to watch you at work.
it was a good result in the end. Thanks for the support!
I was thinking he needed a circular saw, battery-powered of course!
Thickest overgrown edges I’ve ever seen. Great job. I bet it was very frustrating to do with the blades needing replaced.
Good to see u again Tim..!!

Looks Great. Man that was a lot of work cleaning up those edges.
I make more work for myself 😂
its nice you get to put the grass we had to stop because the city said it stinks
Whoa they sure were some savage edges
For those unfamiliar with out bins here, that would have been 120 litres of edges squashed down
I like doing these thick ones! Thanks for watching!
Great video Tim!

That’s a good reason you should take a look at the job before committing. Trimming that sidewalk was a lot of additional work. Hope you mentioned it to the owners. I hope he paid you extra!
In the video I show that they actually paid me extra
Hi Tim Great video that was a lot of work on edging. You must’ve been pretty tired out. But what I found unusual is your edger I have never seen anything like that before. Again thank you for doing such a great video.
Hello from the Texas Hill country.
Hi mate, It’s from an Australian company called ATOM
@@timthelawnmowerman It looks like a plow they used in the olden days when they were pulled by horses. (in the USA)
Edging makes the property look like a million bucks. Great job and video.
I'm a big fan of it too! Thanks for watching
Excellent job! But where I live in Georgia, USA, it's the city's job to keep the curbs edged and clean. I thought it was that way everywhere.
Doesn't happen that way here. Thanks for watching!
Excellent work, a nice edge makes the job.
Agreed!
Tim....you always go the extra mile 🤗🤗🤗🤗
Great job. Our container has a green lid for recycling♻️. What kind of edger do you use?

Nice job Tim, that was definitely overgrown edges. I'm sure your toes are sore from kicking. 👍👍👍👍👍👍😁🇺🇸
hahahah all good Neusa!
That was some tough edging. Good job.
I make it harder than it needs to be 😂
Thats a lot of extra work! I hope you were compensated for it!
They were good about it 😊 Thanks for watching!
Good job Tim( as allways).🇳🇱greets from the Netherlands.
thanks for all your support!
That red edger machine is very impressive. Be cautious about kicking sidways like that to remove the thick cut grass. It is a good way to blowout your knees.
You should invent a machine that scrapes the cut overgrowth away, like a power hoe.
It was quite soft and really just for the video. Thanks for caring though!
Your edges are so good for my OCD 😍
Thank you Paula!
Great work as always but I wish you would use a shovel instead of stopping to kick the cut edging.
Excellent job 👍
Nice work Tim.
Thanks for tuning in again!
They always say, a good work environment is a clean work environment.
Absolutely!
that,s a lot of cuttings on the edge of things but once it,s tackled and trimmed to perfection it,s really worth the effort and i can see in your case there was a very overgrown type of grass on the gutters and all etc but still a grouse job mate.
Thanks Patrick!
Great job Tim! What a mess that was.
Sure was!
And that was the hardest part of the job i think.Looks realy neat.
Thanks 🙏
Great video Tim, how deep do you go whwn using the blade edger? I think I am going to deep because I change my blade quite regularly
I really feel for you !That was too much!
Nooooo the backyards were worse!
Job well-done!! Looks good!
Thanks Yvonne!
Edging..... hours of fun :/
hHahaha exactly
I always spray a little bit of Round Up along the edging groove to get any roots that may pop up later.
Good job!👍🏾
Cheers Joe!
You were having to make triple cuts on the edging, that was tough work and long undone. That did turn the job into an excellent one.
would have been easier if I was prepared
You done a great video Your Achilles and heel came very painful after that you can used shovel no broom to remove the grass the easy way
Thanks mate!
Beautiful work. New Subscriber 💜
Awesome thanks for watching!

Yep, I was really happy with it at the end, except for the fact I had the two backyards still to do after 😂
