  • Have you ever looked at a property and though - what a nightmare that would be to clean up? Well, this is one of those properties, and I'm going to transform the whole lot, bit by bit. The neighbours actually came across to comment on the difference and said that it was unbelievable. They were ever more shocked when I said I did it for free 🌞. This is part 3 of 5.
Part 01: • Is this the Garden Fro...
Part 02: • The Biggest Yard TRANS...

    FAQ's:
    Q: Where are you located?
A: We are from Hobart, Tasmania, Australia 🦘🦘🦘.
Q: Do you worry about snakes?
A: I have never even seen a snake in over 4 years on the job.
Q: Which equipment do you use?
A: We use mostly STIHL power equipment (battery and petrol) and commercial Honda self-propelled mowers.
Q: How much do the jobs cost?
A: Sorry, I prefer not to talk about costs!
    Q: What happened to Nick?
A: Nick was offered a full-time position at his other job as a Political admin!
    Q: What happened to Brent?
A: Brent quit at the start of August 2022.
Q: Why don't you use tarps instead of cans?
A: Tarps are too difficult to move through small spaces and lift into the trailer. The same for wheelbarrows, they are only good for unloading the trailer!
Q: Why are the hot water cylinders outside?
A: I'm not really sure to be honest, maybe something to do with space & maintenance, but either way, it really is poor heat efficiency!
Q: Why are you cutting so close to your employee!
A: I'm not cutting too close to my workers, they are standing too close to where I am working! All of my workers have been told numerous times about standing too close to the tools and about the hazards involved!
Q: Why do your workers do all the lifting and carrying?
A: Basically, they are employed to carry things and I pay them well, to do the job required.
Q: You work so well together, how do you do it?
A: That's the magic of editing. My workers are basically given instructions on what to do, I just edit it all out, so the videos look seamless!
Q: Why don't you have help?
A: I've had a lot of problems with employees in the past, so I now work alone.
    Q: Why don't you have a ride-on mower?
A: Well, there are a few reasons.
    1. Currently, I don't do enough jobs like his to justify spending 15k on a good ride on mower.
    2. I don't have anywhere to store it.
    3. A lot of the properties we do have fences and gates, so you can't actually get a ride -on in there.
    4. I don't have the right trailer for a ride on, considering we always take the green waste away.
    5. I will get one as soon as all of the above are solved!

Like I’ve mentioned before; it amazing to watch how you look at a large task, that may overwhelm a lot of people, and break it down into discrete tasks that can be accomplished and go about methodically getting it all done. The camera almost shows your thoughts; how you record the entire yard pausing while you seem to evaluate how clean up a region of the yard before going to the next region where you do the same pause to evaluate, then rinse and repeat until you have recorded the whole yard. I was taught how to do this to accomplish a complex task, break it all down into small easy to accomplish tasks to solve the problem. To watch you do that in a real-world demonstration is fascinating. I’m curious, have you always thought in this way or have you learned it through experience? You don’t have to answer that if it’s too intrusive.

Clearing the driveway alone would have me all tuckered out and needing several days to recoup. As tall and thick as that grass was, I am surprided you didn't find Jimmy Hoffa's body. lol Shame to see a property like that abandoned and ill kept. Kudo's to you x 10.

This was one of the absolute best videos I have ever seen. You can almost hear the breath of relief from the shrubs as you trim them. Awesome job, by the way! And, where did that concrete pad come from where the bins were? I thought it was just a grassy patch! You have made the day of this old lady in Texas! Love, love, love watching and living vicariously through your excellent work. Keep up the good work, and know you are appreciated! ❤
