This song breaks my heart. It's speaks to the artificial divisions between African Americans and Africans in the motherland. It's so sad how we allowed ourselves to be divided this way. It would be beautiful, and powerful if we could realize our truth. There's strength in numbers. Divided we fall much more easily and that's where we currently find ourselves.
