Compared to the 2-4 shot kill guns like the SMR and FAL OSW can achieve at roughly the same distance the AN-94 can hit targets at, (let's go with midrange), the AN-94 is already outgunned in damage by those two weapons. Also, there must not be a lot of players that actually hate it, seeing as how I run into at least TWO guys using the AN-94 every game I play. Most don't like it because of the high level needed to unlock the damn thing at.
