Can you tell me if there is a difference in the paper color between them, is one a brighter white than the other? I agree that the Quentel has more ghosting than preferred; Cambridge does well in this area.
Could you comment on the paper color? I have the Quentel and the paper isn't a bright white but not as yellow'ish as the second printing. A shorter way of asking, does the Allan have whiter paper?
i want a softer leather bible, a bible which leather when held in hand just bends all the way open, allan or schuyler im in the process of buying one or another but need some recommendations from you since i saw your video
Could you imagine if they got a hold of the single column reference? That would be amazing. They may have in the past but that may have been before I discovered premium Bibles.
@@TomPlantagenet Allan actually did a run of the single column reference but trust me, you didn't miss out on anything. It was not using the good paper that Lockman started out with.
@@bobgunner3086 really? Wow that is disappointing. Perhaps now that they print the textblocks in the Netherlands, if they do it again it would be better. Thank you
I own both of these bibles and the leather on my Allan is softer, however, the leather on my Schuyler NASB personal size quentel is softer than my Allan. I think it really just depends on the goat.
The yapp and page layout gives Allan a distinct advantage 👌
Schuyler. I vote Schuyler
Only thing better than braised ribs is raised ribs. 👌
I have both, I was a little disappointed by the amount of ghosting in the Schuyler Thinquel

Probably the two best Bibles on the market. You can’t go wrong with either one.
Could you tell the measurements I can't really hold a large or heavy bible thank you

I would go with the Allan ... especially if you have never owned an Allan bible before. It is just more than the sum of its parts.
Great review. Very helpful.
SCHUYLER IS WHY I WILL NEVER BUY AN ALLAN. MY FEELINGS AND MY MONEY GO TO EVANGELICAL BIBLES.
Where are the best places to purchase premimum Bibles? Is the Silverline limited edition? Thanks.

Oh, if only Allan's could get a hold of some InTouch text blocks like they did for the reader .. I'd buy one of every color!
Bob Gunner I thought this was a Reader?

Which leather is softer or better schuyler or allan bible
I'd say Schuyler on when comparing between these two bibles... But, hides vary from one to the next so that might not be the same for all comparisons.

I own both and love both. The leather is softer on my Schuyler but I like the font size and type better on the Allan.
FONT OF SCHUYLER HAS GOTTEN DARKER IN FEBRUARY 2022. 10 POINT IS TOO SMALL . CENTER. COLUMN TAKES UP SPACE.
