    My RE teacher shown me this when I was about 14, looking back she was cool AF - she would always try and make the lessons as fun as possible and you could pretty much say whatever you wanted and she'd just debate with us but always respect our opinion.
    RIP mrs boylan

      Scroobius always has great production and samples. Never fails to successfully mix more than one genre and what's crazy is it sounds like he's reading a poem yet its so musically fantastic and catchy.

    Really awesome way to make the God feel relatable. Just a guy who happened to be there and wanted to create something beautiful, but his creations fucked everything up. Remember when I first heard the song 7 years ago, randomly came back to it and it's still powerful and meaningful.

      Well i think the point of the song has nothing to do with religion god is just a midden to make people look at society more subjectively.

      Couldn't agree more. The character that is God is portrayed with such brilliant relatability. This song is so damn timeless and bonus for using Planet Telex as a sample.

    Never heard of this guy/group/ensemble until a few minutes ago when I heard this track on Xfm. Had to listen again as I was driving at the time. WOW!! Lyrics are heavy! I'm not the intellectual type,but I'm sure you could write an essay all about what is being said. Definitely added to favourites!

And what a message. Such an amazing song with amazing lyrics. Pay attention people, this man talks sense.

    God Knows all things beginning and end. He knew we would behave this way even before he created us. so, does that mean we call him evil? NO! definitely not. Man needed to learn to appreciate their God and the only way they will learn this is to see what the absence of God does to a beautiful world. Under free will, man will have to choose whether they want to live for themselves or for God, and that is the hardest but most fair challenge. God is never Wrong and does not need to apologize.

      what about cancer

    • @tkitsz
      @tkitsz 8 років тому

      If god is all knowing why treat is in such a way if he knew for a fact I would hate him for it? Could the all powerful have not found a solution that befits EVERYBODY? Is he not wise enough to teach without killing?
      The gods made by men are endlessly flawed with human emotions and petty squabbles.
      If there is a god, we haven't found him yet, and I'm certain he hasn't shown himself yet.
      All the make believe people still believe in today.... It never stops to amaze me...

    • @christonclarke6510
      @christonclarke6510 8 років тому +1

      tkitsz Idk idkThe word God or the being that the Bible calls GOD is and will always remain the most powerful being there is....man hates and fears what they cannot understand. My point is, 'GOD' loves but is no servant to man, he does not need to answers to you, Moses or Abraham God answers to No one. He does as he pleases. It's up to u whether you want to submit to the one who made you or run away because we dont like rules and hate being obedient to the one who gave them. For obeying his word 'the bible ' and believing in his son, he promises eternal life and to prepare a place for you in heaven. That's all God ever promised. He did not promise a cure for cancer, nor people from steeling your property, or terrorism.

    • @tkitsz
      @tkitsz 8 років тому +1

      christon clarke
      How? He made the person stealing from me, knowing he was going to steal from me! What a dick! I don't hate or fear the Bible's god. I think he is imaginary.
      I never wanted a servant, but I'd be cool if he could stop with the floods and earthquakes and shit.... How about stop making shitty people and shitty parents? How about he DIDN'T create stupid stuff like greed.
      If God does not want to take responsibility for all the bad shit he does, why should I? I mean he's the most fucking perfect being there is right? Why expect flawed beings he made knowing full and well they were going to be flawed to follow all his rules, while he can't even do it himself? It's like asking for the impossible, expecting it to work every fucking time. Like a baby trying to fit the triangle into the square....
      The god from the Bible more often sounds like a 5 year old child with way to much power rather than an all knowing, all powerful, and all benevolent being. ''He does as he pleases'', That's exactly what the fuck is wrong with him. I do the right things everyday because I am held accountable for my actions. Nobody holds God accountable for his, so he can do whatever the fuck he wants. You're an idiot to think that whatever he does is good, just because he is a god.
      When I kill it's always bad, but more often than not when he does it, it's just His way.... Fuck that shit. If he wants me to believe in all of his holiness, he'll first have to show me he's actually holy. Like people only becoming a doctor after they have proven to have all the knowledge and skills to be one.
      How bad is that? And if that is really bad right? WHY THE FUCK WOULD HE MAKE ME THIS WAY?! It's like setting me up to fail in a mission given to me from day 1. Your god is a shitty god....
      As I said, there might be a God somewhere. But I'm certain it isn't any of the Gods we worship today or have worshiped in the past.
