Thank you for all of these wonderful videos! Will be taking our first cruise to Alaska next month, and I learned so much valuable information from these!
Wonderful videos of your journey! Very informative and really helped me get good visuals of all the ports. I leave on Holland America out of Seattle on May 18th! So happy I found your channel!
Thank you, you're going to have a great time! This is our last daily vlog video. Next we will start creating some shorter tips and tricks content, which should be helpful for anyone going to Alaska, not just people cruising on Norwegian Cruise Line.
Stay tuned for more videos as well. I would not suggest Norwegian Cruise Line after this trip, and I'll be going more in depth about that in the coming weeks.
@@colliewollie2022 I have heard good things about them. I believe they are the oldest cruise line in Alaska. Pay attention to where it's docking. I believe Holland docks in Haines and not Skagway.
Yes, as long as you don't have a condition that makes it challenging to walk, it's very easy to get to downtown from the ship. Less than a 30 minute walk. There was a shuttle, but we didn't take it, and I am not sure if it was complimentary or not.

I was looking at Holland America Koningsdam ship on July 12, 2025 in an aft cabin

The water is much calmer in the inside passage departing from Vancouver.
I do not doubt that! Definitely something good to know for people prone to motion sickness!
Question 🙋 what happens if someone has a dui? Can they just stay on the ship if they do not want apply for “rehabilitation “ status
I am not sure. I know that entry into Canada gets tricky with this. That is definitely a question for the cruise line.
Has it truly walkable from the ship to town?

Thank you. We will be doing this same trip in August.
