One of the staples in Revit's collection is the Sand 3, an adventure jacket that is a true Swiss army knife packed to the brim with utilitarian features. The Dutch powerhouse that is Rev'It! took this bestseller and reworked it, aiming at those with a more urban riding style. They cleaned up the front of the jacket and used polycotton 2L which has a wax coated look to it, furthermore the outer shell is reinforced with strong polyester oxford on the impact zones and Lorica on the shoulders for a leather looking finish. This three quarter length jacket is a modern take on the shooting style jackets that were used in the early days of motorcycling.

REVIT IS without a shadow of a doubt the BEST bang-for-buck when it comes to motorcycle clothing! Bar none. 1; it's stylish (subjective I know but I think so) 2; it WILL protect you 3; it's extremely well made and from high quality materials. 4; And they now have so many style types to choose from you're spoilt. I've just returned my second Belstaff jacket for this the Urban! Yes Belstaff is very stylish but it has a skinny fit on the arms which is no good when reaching for the bars. The zipper frequently undoes itself when seated and rolling down the road And wax jackets (REGARDLESS OF WHAT ANY MAKE OR ANYONE TELLS YOU (tech BS etc...)) does not breath! Wax jackets are boil-in-a-bag nightmares! Great review thanks.

Nice jacket and nice colour as opposed to all black which sucks during summer. Why don't manufacturers introduce black fabric between just hand and elbow when all the dirt tends to gather from putting chains on, pumping tires etc. Also I hope it's not the same fabric which tends to rip way too easily when slightly damaged... just like paper. Scary on motorcycle jacket.

I assume that the Sand Urban has been discontinued? Shame if it has, it has everything in need in a jacket. What would be a good alternative or replacement?

Actually, I just checked a rev'it leather jacket I have in my closet and it was made in Pakistan. It's a Dutch company
