The temptation to replace the chalice/grail with a green stuff bottle of Bombardier beer in my exiles list, just to further annoy other knights is quite overwhelming.
"Lady Élisse Duchaard, the new Damsel on Unicorn is finally here for Bretonnia!" No she's not. Been "Temporarily out of stock" every time I have checked. Which has been a fair number of times. Glad you snagged one, and you did a great job with her. I am not bitter at all, nope, not a bit.
I had it in my cart with the new lord on peg and the transfer sheet. Checked out and it was out of stock. Less than a minute after it went on sale (at least for me in West Coast US) None of the Bretonnia range outside of what you can pick up in a local store has ever gotten restocked for me. I think I received one mounted yeomen notice a day or two after I bought them for 2x the price. I still wanted more but they sold out instantly
She went out of stock where I am super fast too but she is getting restocked again and again, hopefully you guys manage to get one soon. I know there’s been some weird delays with US releases-no idea what’s happening there at all!
If it was me painting it, I think I'd have stopped halfway through for fear of ruining it. I really liked the pink on the dress pre-highlight but you added all those little touches that really took the model up a notch. The horsey's flower necklace turned out amazing! and her skin looked great. Liked the natural look of the main body of the dress too.
Yeah someone else said the dress looks like a natural undyed fabric-happy accident 😄 glad you enjoyed, and hope you learned to push through the ugly stage as well!
my hobby store nearby couldnt get to get the order when it was online 3 weeks ago....i think GW doesnt want people to get her...because right now she is out of stock or direct only i think... at least i will see the paint stages from you.
It’s a beautiful sculpt and seeing it from lots of angles during the video just emphasises both how good the sculpt is but also how gorgeous their casting has become. And congratulations on the lovely job you did painting her it was interesting to see you tackle something so soft and subtle as it’s not often we see it with all the armour and male faces musculature etc, great job Andy.
Oh my goooooosh, this is beautiful! This is exactly the kind of gorgeous paint job I knew I'd see a lot of as soon as this amazing miniature was revealed, and you made her look super easy to paint! Thank you so much. This definitely makes me want to buy her the next time it's convenient.
Beautiful paint job on a beautiful model! All of your Bretonnians videos are truly inspiring! I really like the longer format, since we can see more detail of your process. I just got my Lady Elisse model, and she will get painted as soon as I finish my Lord on royal pegasus! Thanks again for making paint videos that I feel I can actually follow, although I’m not nearly as good a painter as you. But your videos feel like they are inspiring and attainable.
Great job, I love the model. I think I’m going to paint her up and gift her to my wife. She has no interest in our hobby but she’s always supported my love of painting and I think it would be cool to share that with her!
This is such a gorgeous model. Your Bretonnian painting videos are really inspiring and tempting me to do a Bretonnian army for Old World. Thanks for sharing more of your stuff.
It's a lot easier of an army to do than you'd think! Glad you're enjoying the content, maybe pick up one or two models to test out before committing to the army and see how you feel about them! This one especially is a great painting project by herself!
You make me want this character but I don't play Bretons. Maybe I should get her for my AoS Empire army? My Warriors of Chaos as some kind of fallen damsel on a demon mount?
I think the model transcends the army, it would make such a cool painting project by itself: if you can fit it into a different army, even more reason to try it!
awesome paint job, the length of the video doesn't matter as long as the quality is there and you always do good quality, besides its only 22 minutes its not like its an hour or something....the old saying is Quality not Quantity....sometimes you get both.
Perfect timing for this video. My daughter absolutely fell in love with this miniature when she first saw it so I've just ordered it to paint up for her 9th birthday. I'll definitely be using your tutorial for it
Simply beautiful Andy! Really appreciate that you took the time to give us a longer video here, as there was indeed so much to cover, my order for one of these is now in!
The temptation to replace the chalice/grail with a green stuff bottle of Bombardier beer in my exiles list, just to further annoy other knights is quite overwhelming.
Hahahaha that would be brilliant!
add bottles on the floor, the reason she was excommuncatied was because she litters

Yup none of the new sculpts were even released in the US; the damsel, the questing knight, and the battle standard bearers.
Sad times.

@@MediocreHobbies can't get The Old World in the New World? Thematically appropriate! (or just usual GW production capacity shenanigans)
Good color choices. I will be avoiding GW paints in the future but the conversion is appreciated
Thanks so much!

It’s online order only, and she’s in stock as of now, there’s no conspiracy theory needed 😂

Yeah it was a completely different style for me! Thanks man, appreciate it!

Glad it hear that man, she might feel very different to what we're used to painting but I promise she's easy enough!
I really like that colour for her dress, makes it look like natural undyed/unbleached wool which fits the character in my opinion. Great tutorial.
A happy accident but yes it does look like that! Thanks so much
The horse is sensational!! I'd bump up the contrast on the red and green and make her clothes a bit less beige but that's minor. Super effort.
Totally fair. Always adjust tutorials to your liking! Thanks man
Easily my favorite new model of the old world! Great to see you give it a proper paint job!
Mine too, was so stunned when they revealed it

Aw you’re very welcome, love hearing that! All it takes is practice 😊
I absolutely love her!
Great paint job, and thank you for making me aware of her, she's gorgeous.
Glad you like the model! She really is beautiful!
Beautiful paint job, I’ll definitely need to watch this again a few times when I get to painting mine
Glad you liked the result, thanks so much!
I really like the model and your paint job is great. I don’t mind longer videos. It’s nice to watch while I’m working on models.
Great to hear that! Glad you liked the video!

Aw I love that idea! She will love a gift like that and it’s a great way to connect and appreciate her support. Great plan
As always, a great paint scheme. It is indeed one gorgeous model.
Thanks so much, yeah it’s beautiful

Stunning work Andy! Loved the longer style video! Hopefully an old world orc will be soon…. Wyvern or a bone grinder would be class
Let's see when my orders arrive :D Cheers man!
Incredible model, beautifully painted as ever!
Thank you very much!

This is one I’m definitely afraid of doing so thank you for such a fantastic tutorial. Btw I actually love it when you’re videos are a bit longer lol
That’s good to know-thank you! Hope it helps get you through the fear and all the way to a painted unicorn!
And is available again !!!!!!
Yes she is! 🙌
Thanks for the tip. I ordered her immediately. She was still in stock.

Appreciate that Glyn! Yeah it's not that long, just felt long while recording :D

Aw what a perfect gift, she’ll love it, especially if it’s painted by you as well. Let me know if you have any questions and hope it goes well!
Its amazing how you have improved in comparison when you started the channel ❤ . Love your content keep it up, big hug from chile
Thanks so much, yeah it’s funny looking back at my first videos now! Appreciate the support 😊
Great tutorial, thank you. For the Lady!
You’re very welcome!
Soulblight Grey is an amazing shade! Made painting white so much easier
It is a godsend
Perfect video for a perfect mini
cheers man, appreciate that!
Simply beautiful Andy! Really appreciate that you took the time to give us a longer video here, as there was indeed so much to cover, my order for one of these is now in!
Can't wait to see how it turns out!
Looks great, thanks for this video! I am still waiting for more stock here in the states.
Yeah US seems to be missing out, not sure what’s happening there
The longer video is great. more insight into choices and great footage!
Oh that’s good to know, thanks for that!
Very nice these new models are nice .
Yeah they’re stunning
Great video! Very informative and helpful!
Thanks so much, glad you enjoyed it!
Fantastic work - will follow the steps on my metal damsel on unicorn!
Oh awesome, have fun with it!
Longer videos for centerpiece characters and monsters is 100% okay
Great to hear that, thanks man
Great work
Thanks so much
Looks amazing … and great walkthrough
Thanks so much!
Fantastic Andy - great job.
Cheers John!
Great video.
Thank you!
Love this! Thankyou!
Did you change the colour of the tail?
Noel same as the body.
I really like some of the Old World and AoS models. Might get one of 2 heroes ect just to paint something which isn't 40k.
Great models to paint.
Been having such a hard time getting one in the U.S. I tried getting one on launch day and she hasn't come back here.
Yeah US releases seem a bit messed up for Old World stuff, no idea why but I hope it gets sorted out soon!
Trying her now
Just done standard bearer 😢
You got this, she's just like any other model once you get started!
Waiting for mine- should be here end of May. What do you use to fill in the gaps in resin?
This is the new resin, no gaps 🙌
@@MediocreHobbies u kidding? None?
And in the past- what did you use?
Great job! And it is a lovelly model!
Thanks so much!
