I'm Peruvian, and after playing the game, I'm pretty sure Lamu is a jarjacha.
The jarjacha is a very old legend supposedly created by the Spanish in colonial times so that the indigenous people would not commit incest, which was widely practiced by families long before the conquest of the Tahuantinsuyo empire. If you commit an incestuous relationship, you become a llama with a human face with the possibility of having up to three heads with the ability of psychotic powers such as hypnosis to make it easier to catch its victims. He has a thirst for meat, specifically human heads which are his favorite part. It appears in the dark of the night in search of prey, so it is very dangerous to be alone and you must run as fast as possible so that it does not find you since hiding is useless. If you are going to do tourism in very remote rural towns in Peru, it is likely that they will tell you about this legend and warn you of its dangers.
The jarjacha of this game is interesting because she suffers from schizophrenia, that explains why the narrator tells her what to do as if she were an internal voice and sees things that are not like the dog that is a banana, people are fruits, the night it is the day for him.
Very interesting and fascinating folklore and mythology of this type of beings.
