Why 7k??????????????????
This goes through chapter 27, 28 just came out a few days ago.
Don't see the Duel going well for the Hero. While members afraid hero will use them to escape. Saint left to find MC, who already had Dragon girl in party. Hero's fixation on wanting harem drove new Holy Sword wielder out.
Mistakenly bc her father's obsessive wish for son.
More then third of Hero's party now with MC... Speaking of harems, saint admitted crush (not to MC😍of course) & dragon calls him her "hubby." Shudder to think what'll happen when holy sword girl notices puberty. Likely as soon as girls get her someplace selling girl clothes... & a hair stylist! The Horror! lmao
I like the twist on the usual trope. The MC is *already* overpowered and *knows* it and was relieved to be "kicked out" of the party.
Makes the trope more bearable. Most times I find it stupid they didn't realize how useful the person getting kicked out it.
Shadow in eminence did this better
Wow, the god of this world just told this man "Yo, I do not trust these idiots to get the job done. Please help them."
Said god must be banging his head against a wall right now lol
At least it a useful god.
When you think about it, that's a pretty good safety net. Consider this: in order for the hero to beat the BBEG, they must aquire a greater pool of strength. But a warrior drunk on the glory will often times grow antsy in times of peace, leading them towards the path of becoming the next BBEG. And the cycle continues.
However, if instead of relying on the hero's own lorals, you grant them a force multiplier like the protagonist, then all you'd need to do for the cycle to stop is to seperate the two... then the renegade hero can be easily dealt with by the army.
@@Maninawig While that IS some rather good thinking, I just have to say there's a reason why Lex Luthor, a perfectly normal human with no form of super power at all, is the arch nemesis of Superman.
Master-mind villains are time and again the actual biggest threats in the entire hero genre. Master-minds are an element often distinctly lacking in the swords-and-magic genre, but introducing a party buff caster like this is the equivalent of introducing a master-mind into the mix.
If we get a master-mind who can turn absolutely any random group of people into an OP hero party, what happens if this guy recruits a loyal band of followers and goes on the war-path, becoming the next BBEG?
I guess it just means this roll is the one the god has to be the absolute most careful and selective about and be absolutely certain he chooses the right guy for the job.
@@conanedogawa4798 I have actually been thinking of what you said as I rewatch this episode, and I think there might be a side effect/curse to stop our MC from becoming that evil mastermind:
Ariake is very smart when it comes to strategies, monsters, and spell uses. We keep hearing how he does the impossible like carrying the perfect amount of supplies and all that.... which makes it quite the contradiction as to why he is more than dense on Alicia's feelings (always thinking he upset her).
Now consider that a eunuch is a male deprived of any sexual drive by having his penis completely removed. Also consider that the mastermind's fall to darkness is not found in their brilliance, but in their ambition.... so what if the god granted Ariake all the abilities and brilliance to guide and amplify the party, but in exchange took away his sense of pride or ambition? Then, one could imagine that fighting the demon lord would be a logical and lofty goal, but gaining recognition, using his powers for self-gain, or even seeking romantic endeavors might become a foreign concept. Now, as long as his love interest is clear about her intentions, this would not stop him from having a fulfilling life as he still has a desire to support, but he's be immune to things like Alicia's bashfulness or Charlotte's choice to call him hubby.
2:26 Alicia reveals the truth quite simply by her wording, not “You’re not right for the party” but “This party isn’t suited for HIM” she KNOWS
She’s just a tsundere

What I like about the comedy in this story is how some of it comes from serious moments getting completely derailed, like in the Fenrir encounter; It builds itself up as so serious and dire only to get totally side-swipe with the Saintess declaring and reasserting her love for Ariake. Also the background music really helps sell it here.
Yep, that sums up the whole thing and I love it
these fictional worlds REALLY need a new rule when it comes to parties
"When an old member leaves, or dies, the party can only take ranked 2 down quests, the parties rank will be restored after they compleate 5 in a row"
a good way to see if the party DOES have power, or if it was all boosts from that 1 member
That's a very sensible idea, that's why I doubt any fantasy world would actually implement it.
If it were a game maybe, but if it were “real” I doubt it
The thing is, they were an S-Rank adventirer party, the dingeon that they went were for C-Rank, so they did go to a dungeon that was a lit "weaker" than they were

This story is good not because of the cathartic comeuppance of the Hero party, which I admit I enjoyed, but because the MC is a nurturing individual. You don't see that often. He truly attempts to help people grow.
Well, as OP as Ariake is he didn’t really succeed with all of them, the ones who he did truly end up help being predictably pretty girls 99% of the time. Gotta build dem designated schmecks appeal harems around Protag-kun somehow lol.

While the setup makes for a good karmic power fantasy, I am BAFFLED for how even after years of adventuring together, the Hero Party would not have grinded up to match Protag-kun, if their level was that far behind their ranking, how could they NOT notice how much they were being CARRIED?! My god, if Protag-kun is a squishy wizard outside of support skills, his BACK must be ACHING.
Kind of outrageous ain't it? The hero party should be atleast C rank on their own after all those years
Just the fact that they're so under prepared, unleveled and incompetent in making strategies
So your telling me they go swords blazing with no plan?
@@rylenstuffsv2 the narrative labels him the "team dad" early on, but with how incompetent the team is, its more like he's caretaker for a senior facility
Yeah its kinda cringe how weak they are written, they shouldnt be so weak that one lowly skeleton could completely job a whole hero party.
Its almost like the support MC was maliciously keeping them needy and co-dependant on him and knew what would happen if he left. Meanwhile he gets a OP dragon waifu he barely needed.
@@HeilRay No MC wasn't keeping them dependent. He was keeping their own stupidity from killing themselves. Remember he was instructed to support the hero he cannot leave them or allow them to be seriously injured. During the C level dungeon part, it's shown that he numerously and repeatedly gave them advice to make them stronger. The reason they are weak was because they were so up their own asses that they assumed being a hero automatically made you the strongest naturally with no effort which is why they lost to a level 15 floor boss. Meanwhile the priestess of the party who listened to him and "trained hard until she coughed up blood" was a match for the level 99 floor boss.
Seeing how much MC prefers not to be relied on I doubt it was malicious but the one glaring plot hole is while he's so good at planning and foreseeing things and has all these skills, he didn't have the foresight to correct them at the start about their power and tell it was due to him, though if he had they probably wouldn't have believed him and been in denial. So, the only cringe thing written is just how stupid the antagonist is written to make every single bad choice when presented with 2 options. Like not even checking for supplies.
Thats what i am getting so far. It is fascinating what a couple bad writing narratives can steamroll into a problem that makes other characters feel either dumb or evil for allowing to transpire. If they were as advanced as they were, at a certain point they shouldn't even have that much issue on their own against weaklings without Ariake, let alone as a group and be believable.
It might have been different if they themselves went to higher ranking dungeons without Ariake or a solid plan, barely surviving and decided to seek higher rank monsters because of their ego and their 'stronger than demon lords/giants/ect' power. It even makes the priestess Alicia look horrible because she was one of the driving forces that pushed Ariake from the party for her gain and they expect us to give a dam when she comes crawling back with a wolf waifu and feelings for him? No notable animosity from him or his dragon waifu that takes great offense to anyone that crossed her master present or past.
Its like everyone is Horror Movie character levels of dumb for several reasons that the premise of getting booted from the hero party doesn't seem interesting at all. Feels like the story should have been called "THE WORLDS DOOMED! HOW DID WE BECOME THE HERO PARTY?! @@quirda77

It makes no sense everybody would be stupid enough to not realize they are 10 times stronger than they would be otherwise, unless MC kept all the buffs up 24/7 since they were kids.
I guess this seems to a trend in manga now. I’ve heard so many stories with the same concept.
MC is kicked from the party, either the hero’s or S-rank one, due to being seen as weak. Sometimes he’s sacrificed as bait so his former group can escape.
It’s then revealed that he’s actually the strongest member that was carrying the team. But he has low self-esteem due to treated like garbage.
He then forms a new group, many times full of this harem of girls, and does his own thing.
Eventually we see his former party struggle to do anything and wonder why they suck now.
They even hire a new member and then they blame them for not being able to good, when in reality it’s just that their standards are ridiculous.
I’ve seen this so many times from other UA-camrs. At least this guy kept his power secret and doesn’t care he was kicked out.
Yeah, I commented before. This retelling of almost word-for-word the identical same plot is a very strange trend that's popped up in the adventure power-fantasy genre lately.
That said, this one in particular seems to be some kind of sign of this weird new plot that's hit the genre like a malignant cancer is somehow evolving. If the others that use this plot are common rocks, this one is at least a rather pretty rock.
I mean, don't get me wrong, still definitely a common rock. I can pick out even mediocre examples of other story-plots that are MUCH better than this one, but the fact is this specific one is good because it has identified some of the flaws in other examples within the genre and corrected for them while adapting a few solutions and new strengths of it's own.
I have to say I actually sorta enjoyed it. And, as exhausting as it is that every single freaking one of these are essentially the exact same story, this one also makes me somewhat interested to see if one day we might see something from this weird trend actually rank in at what could even be considered "good."
(This one's still in the "guilty pleasure" tier. Bad, but you find you still enjoy it anyway. Same tier that "In another world with my smart phone" is on. That one gets ragged on for how horrible it is, but I went back and watched it recently. It's actually a lot better compared to others that follow the same trend of super OP-isekai power-fantasy protagonist, and kind of a pleasure to watch by comparison, even though it's still REALLY freaking bad.)
Actually, you should check out this series called "The Creation Alchemist Enjoys Freedom." It's like this plot, except on a national level. It's an alchemist that gets given to the demon kingdom as a human sacrifice, only for the demon king to take him in and make him the state alchemist. The demon king's nation becomes really powerful because they actually appreciate this alchemist's talents.
Turns out, his alchemy skills were actually so good it made all other alchemists in the nation look like children by comparison, but it stayed unknown because he wasn't allowed to make his skills public for family politics reasons.
In this instance the "hero" position in the standard plot is replaced with the boy's father. The father goes through almost the exact same break-down arc as the hero does in the more standard version of the plot.
It's a variation on the plot, and it still comes off as contrived as hell, but the fact that it's a variation is more in the direction of what I said about it seeming as though the plot is evolving through it's many re-tellings.
@@conanedogawa4798 Yeah, I’ve read that one before. It’s not bad.
Honestly, I don’t mind this type of plot. I think it’s interesting having the hero be booted from his party and strike out on his own.
The problem is that everyone is using the same plot and ideas and it gets stale, especially with every new story having them.
Like how the MC’s former party are so weak that even beginner monsters destroy them. Like how the relied on him so much that him leaving completely tanks the team.
I think one of the main problems with this sort of trope playing out here is that the party is full of shallow selfish shitheads who arent capable of introspection and so they either languish or accept a Faustian bargain to grab at power.
This party breakup plot in other genres often sees some kind of resolution where members change, even reconcile and make a new fellowship out of the ashes of the old one.
@@ronaldvexdian2182 It's really just the golden goose story with the twist that the king doesn't appreciate the goose while it's laying golden eggs and only realizes the golden eggs are a good thing after the goose has been slain.
Actually, I think the fact this plot is essentially telling the same lesson as the golden goose story is the one thing really giving this plot actual value. It's just that they need to figure out how to actually tell the story well rather than just "good enough" to entertain the people who don't mind the little bit of power fantasy.
But, yeah, the people copying this plot idea repeatedly are clinging too hard to the golden goose parallels and not having any new ideas of their own. I'd like the idea of someone kicked from the hero party for actual good reasons, the hero actually being competent, and the protagonist of the story needing to find their own niche in order to accel. (Maybe even allow for the potential of peaceful resolution with the hero once the protagonist starts really showing themselves well. Maybe not getting accepted back to the hero's party, but the protagonist and hero's parties could cooperate to take down a big threat at some point.)
The party: we dont need you. You're worthless and weak. Out powers are mire than enough

Healers, Clerics, and White Mages: "What did we tell you?! WHAT THE FUCK DID WE TELL YOU?!?"
An hour in and I can see the harem starting to take form because of course it is.
But of course! It's required at this point.
To be fair though I like that the guy is just going around helping everyone and that is how he is building everything.
I have a theory that his ability prevents him from seeking one, but he'll gladly accept one if they offer themselves (as he wants to support them). That said, I look forward to the "oh, with that beauty, I couldn't see you as anything but a maiden" line from Ariake to Lampree

whenever I see some "useless" person with tons and tons of utility skills getting kicked out of the Hero's party for "not being strong enough" i always wonder what kind of dystopian world causes people to not consider utility to be useful, or if the person just never decided to use those skills that always seem to one-shot enemies or otherwise trivialize the encounter, or if literally everyone else in the party was just really stupid and never paid attention to anyone besides themselves
especially because, like, frequently the "heroes" are "S-rank" or whatever and the "useless person" is lower rank but it's later made very clear that the "useless person" is able to solo enemies that the whole group of heroes struggle with? and I'm, like, how are these ranks even determined? It's clearly not based on how they're able to handle an enemy alone because that wouldn't match up with what happens in the stories, but also it's not based on their performance in a group because otherwise the support "useless" person would have a more fair judgment? And it's not based on how many missions they've accomplished, because otherwise they'd be the same as their teammates. Only thing I can think of is that the guild asks the team how useful everyone was and the team leader (or maybe the whole party) gives an estimate on how useful each person is and because the team leader's always just a self-absorbed brick they give the support person a low evaluation and the guild just decides to trust them.
Like, legit, are these support characters just incapable of showing off how useful they are or demonstrating why they're needed? Or do they always just choose to party up with narcissistic bricks all the time?
Oh my God. 100% this. It never made any sense to me. Unless the support was also super lazy and narsicistic and never actually bothered doing anything when he was on the party. Like "I could one shot that monster. But meh, they can handle it so I won't do shit" If it had that personality then it wouldn't matter if he was strong or weak. He was just been a jerk and not pulling his own weigh and therefore the party wouldn't really be on the wrong for kicking him out. Assuming he wasn't doing anything else also. Cause you know lets say he didn't fight, but did everything else. Like the cooking and what not. Then fine. But if he really wasn't doing anything because he choose not to, even tho he could Then yeah, kick him.
The one time I remember this made any sense. Was "Chillin' in My 30s After Getting Fired from the Demon King's Army" (It's here in YT as "Fired from the Demon King's Army Anime") Cause he was been measured as a demon while been on the army. But he was a human so of course he was not good at it. "A demon who couldn't even do magic" But once he goes to live with the humans. And learn he can use the humans skills. Open up a whole new world of opportunities. Add that he was raised by demon, that although compare to other demons he might not compared to the strongest there. Said upbringing, among the human put him on a higher level. And what is considered a threat of a monster among a village of regular humans. It wouldn't seen as much of a threat to a demon army.
In addition, he been kicked out by someone who didn't realize how useful he was made more sense since it was new management. New general was an idiot who got his job through nepotism. (Dad was previous general) And already had it for him. But the previous general, and most of the other people knew how important he was. With the previous general specifically telling the new one that one of the best thing he was giving him was the MC as an assistant and to him. Even the demon king recognize that MC was useful called him gifted, smart and kind. And even claimed the reason why the previous general did such a good job was because of his help. And told the idiot he should have him helping him more. Pretending he didn't knew he had fired the MC.
Anyway, point been. That is one of the few animes that made sense. Not everyone was an idiot and most people did understood how important he was. The idiot simply had a personal grudge.
Your concerns are very valid. But sadly the purpose of these stories aren’t made to make sense, they are made to give us a certain emotion of satisfaction because of the feeling of accomplished revenge. Unfortunately, these types of stories are very easy to find as opposed to what you are looking for.
Short answer: because otherwise we wouldn’t have a story lol.
In the case of this story it appears most support specialists only have access to three buffs at most, and those buffs tend to be rather minor in terms of enhancement. As a result those that specialize in support magic are seen as rather weak and thus not viewed as a major contributor to a party's accomplishments. Of course this just begs the question of how the main character could have over 20 buffs as well as be able to massively debuff enemies and still be seen as useless by his own party. Especially since you'd think the rest of the party would be aware of at least some of his unique buffs. At best this explains why the guild considers him weak and assigned him the rank of C since they probably assumed he was on the same level as every other buffing magician. After all, the guild master in that one arc openly stated the idea he could increase the power of the adventures present by a factor of ten while being able to weaken enemies to 1/10th of their normal strength was absurd. A level of enhancement only know to exist in fairy tales and legends.
Of course all of this just reminds me of Beast Tamer.
I like how EVERYONE here didn't even notice the fact that a literal GOD gave the MC the job to guide the hero's party.
I wish for one manga where the hero party is actually nice, and they tell the mc to leave because he really cant keep up, and the mc is strong, but not strong enough to face the heroes, so he just retires and lives as a guild manager or something, and the heroes visit him from time to time to have a friendly chat and drink some tea. So basically, this story but the heroes arent assholes and the mc is actually useless.
This is just lovely.
Already saw this from somone else, said that it was one of the best"kicked out of hero party but pp" i have ever seen, and you even went about 25 minutes further than the other ones!
Really hoping for more of it soon.
I treated this as a second viewing myself. I don't think it's the best cause of Alicia (I have issues with her character), but I do love the premise of the hero so much that I used him as a support bard base for a D&D character.
I am also excited about the new chapter.

I like the fact that he was chill about geting kick😂😂
what I hate about it all is that when he gets kicked, boom, suddenly op. Like, why not of all places????
@@TheSongHolderhe already was OP, he was essentially the invincible OP tutorial guardian that sometimes comes and saves the hero in some RPGs, I can’t think of any at the moment, but I do remember that there are RPGs that have that, it probably isn’t really a thing in more modern games, simply because of the plot holes such a character creates, but I believe that it existed in one of the RPGs on the NES or SNES classics, I think it is more common that they defeated the hero(s) to show them how much they need to grow though
@@TheSongHolder the manga literally explains he was always op? Did you not watch the video? It tells you just minutes in that he hides all of his most useful abilities on purpose as to not draw attention to himself.

Ariake, you have no idea... how both right and wrong you are.
He sure underestimated the being wrong part. Should have probably let them discover some of their own strength before spoiling them with too many buffs lol.
@Dinoslay to be fair when God himself tells you to do something would you really do it half assed? And I'm not trying to be preachy. I just mean if literal God tells you to do something unless it's something really messed up are you gonna do a half assed job or do your absolute best. Plus he tied to tell them what they were doing wrong. The Cleric even pointed out they had perfect synergy before because they let him guide them and they just focused on hitting things. They let their success go to their heads and assumed they were ready to stand on their own. He was acting like a good parent and stepped aside. He doesn't have a big Ego hence why he didn't care. He figured if they kicked him his lessons stuck and they were ready to handle things. Even Priestess tried to show them that they were being stupid and when they all acted selfishly she was just done. She gave all her extra supplies to the mage who abandoned her too even after she choose to stay and help her while Mr Hero and the others were happy to abandon her. She was just done and did say they should just bring Team Dad back.
@@2495781 The god told him to support them, not carry them through every engagement with 10x All-Stat buffs, that he apparently had going on 24/7 for 10+ years, because none of them even realized it.

"Can they even read a map?"
This is going to go so swell
Narrator: "They couldn't, in fact, read a map."
Dude imagine getting sucker punched by your party and left behind as bait and not immediately leaving them when given the chance? Is it so hard to make believable characters?
You should know by the fact the MC was given a billion powers and nobody noticed they were for no apparent reason 10 times stronger than what they should be.
The dude is essentially a hyper specialist logistical support role. With decent skills and powers
Lol. Imagine being given custody of a hero-in-training, kicking them out, and then having that hero show up in the party of the person you're about to have a major duel with for the sake of your reputation.
Even if they somehow managed to pull off a win, their reputation would be ruined forever.
On one hand im really enjoying this story so far, on the other hand its growing into obvious harem. Again.
Saintess childhood friend that has crush on MC, ok, kind of "must have". Rescued dragon? Of course cute girl instantly in love with him. I guess it would be weird if it didnt happen. But hey, huge wolf familiar that changes into human! That would be a guy, right? Nope, sexy lady, that is of course interested in MC. Oh but young hero-to-be that is obvious candidate to take place of previous crappy hero and be companion of MC... A GUY! Nope, lady in disguise and of course in awe of MC. Anyone that can potentially join MC party is girl in love with him, any significant male character is "bad guy". Its all just so obvious. Its tiresome.
You can have admirable male characters outside MC. You can have great female characters that don't salivate over MC. It really doesn't make MC look weaker or worse.
Yeah you can do that, but then it would get in the way of people inserting themselves into the fantasy. 🙄
>insert
>MC isn’t interested in romance

Not just tiresome, its gotten patronizing. Seriously, author, at least try to challenge your readers aside from just throwing them the usual visual treats lol.

Man the two new members of the "Hero's" party got a bad hand. Hopefully there is a way for them to jump ship because Ol' boi is going to get his party completely wiped with how he "Leads".
Why does everyone diss the porter. They are the reason you can fight without worry of your stuff being destroyed and commonly hold MP potions for the mages!
Because in so many places, times, and events, most will pay attention to the shiny loud attacks and not the supply trains. Only those with working braincells pay attention to the supply trains.
He doesn't deserve such disrespectful people yet still cares about them. I respect that, even if they outed him, he still wants to be a helper to anyone whether they deserve it or not.
That's probably the must chilled way to accept being kicked out I've seen.
MC: See you suckers!
The man casually controls time. No big deal.
Now this manga should be made into an anime series it got alot of potential the characters have interesting backgrounds and the story is flowing
Yeah I agree
I always find it weird when people say this. What’s the purpose? These mangas often fall off or get canceled after the protagonist gets their revenge on the hero’s party. After he beats the hero in the duel and get his “revenge,” what the hell else would you legit watch this for? The generic ass fantasy harem story that you read/seen 5000 times already?

@@ManinawigLong story short, Korean manga.
Not a huge deal but Alicia didn't boast about being able to fight a giant golem. The hero boasted that he and Alicia could/had to fight strong monsters like giant golems. Alicia didn't say anything.
Also, the hero didn't get stabbed by his own sword. That sword is the skeleton's. The skelly stabbed the hero as he was decapitating the skelly. You can tell by the sword design and because it was called a counter attack. Counter attacks are simple attacks countering the opponents attack. It's not mind control or some kind of reflect ability. Its not an ability at all. It's a common fighting term, even IRL (tho the "attack" part is usually dropped or replaced with "strike").
Pretty sure the replacement girl wasn't saying the spear kid's calm demeanor is worrying. She was saying she is worried for the kid because a reasonable person will get steamrolled by this collection of nutjobs they call a party. Also, not sure if the phrasing was just not clear in this vid but the porter was not saying the party is determined to win. He was saying that they are all stubborn as hell and that convincing them to train is impossible so there is no point in trying.
@@hypnosillinessnot sure what you mean
These are artifacts of how the script is pulled. That said, Alicia's silence is an admission. Remember that she too told our boy to leave.... and yet when things get tough, she tells fenrir that she was in love with someone she could so easily throw away.
@@Maninawig Pay attention to her phrasing. She doesn't say he is worthless or anything in that vein. She tells him he is not a good fit for the party. Which is true. He is a good person and a hard working person. The party is full of selfish a-holes.
She was pushing him away because she believed he would do better and be happier not in their party.
Before they ever take any quest or enter any dungeons the manga shows her staring out a window missing him (this is done slightly cryptically but most ppl should be able to figure out what is "missing").
She has loved him since childhood and that hasn't changed. She has also always known how powerful he is. She says this explicitly and it is implied in many lines she says.
Look at her face and compare it to the others when she is pushing him away. She is not happy about it but is doing it because she knows the other party members are not worthy of having him in their party.
@@TurntBucket I guess I am jaded because I have seen too many love interests push the mvp away, sometimes very harshly, then claim doubt with a Pikachu face right after they actually leave. There's no time for them to grieve, no realization of where they screwed up to grow and learn from their mistakes... they simply are an abusive love interest I'm supposed to now empathize with.
In Alicia's case, she admitted to care for our protagonist from an early age, and trained hard to make him proud. By what I saw, they traveled together for a while now where she observed him instructing the party on how his buffs worked, and watch them ignore him time and time again. During the betrayal, she again watched them ignore him and, rather than sticking up for him or using the cunning tongue she displayed later to challenge the party to an altemitum (prove you can make it without him or he stays), she stayed silent and just sent him off.
There's a saying that inaction is action, and another stating that choosing to do nothing is still a choice. These two allude to the fact that Alicia staying silent about the hero party's mistreatment of their porter actually becomes an endorsement of their taunts. Again, I might be jaded, but I can't help feeling that there lacks depth to her claims. Maybe if she faltered a bit, asked where she went wrong (was it her duty to the party, or perhaps her want to impress the MC lead her to become arrogant), and sought to rebuild what she once had sought to build, then I would be more compelled to root for her. But as-is, she's always known his strength, was more powerful than anyone, never actually apologized (despite knowing her party basically got the king to consider him a criminal), and showed little growth between who she was before telling him to leave and asking to join him again.... so what's stopping her from turning her back on him again when the church decides to excommunicated her beloved? If she did grow, then the blame lies on poor writing.
@@ManinawigShe didn't turn her back on him at all. She knew the party was no a good fit for him and didn't like what her fellow party members where becoming so she let him leave and didn't speak out of it knowing the idiots where going to fuck up without him. She only stayed behind long enough for that fuck up to happen knowing she was going to ENJOY rubbing it in their faces that they where only good because of him after pulling their asses out of the fire and decided to leave after because she felt that she done all she could for them and wanted to go off and find the man she loves and show off her new wolf handmaiden to him.
I'm just now realizing I clicked on this video 12 seconds after it was released I just finished it
The reader needs to keep things strait. the spear chick has a spear/lance but he calls it a sword 90% of the time and it kills me
not as bad as that other youtuber that does those videos. keeps going with "he" when clearly a she and "she" when clearly a he 80% of manga story telling. than once in awhile being accurate with everyones gender for a moment. while also making too many god damn jokes and references that most of the time not really a accurate comparison. I think is one of AnimeRecap channels that does this ALOT with manga reading.
As a german, I appreciate you trying to pronounce "Heinrich" correctly instead of just saying "hine-rick"

I find it hard to believe they never did training by themselves their entire career though. I understand they grew up together but really? They never tried to solo a monster before?
That was stupidity on their part
They believed they were strong enough for anything. That confidence makes them complacent. Good manga, great reader, highest expectations, best possible outcome🗿🍷.
10/10
Good Manga, Mediocre Reader; they only read 27/28 chapters (this was published October 19th, Chapter 28 was published October 12th), they couldn't even get the weapons straight, ranging from saying the Skeleton's Scimitar was the Hero's Holy Sword, to calling the Holy Lance a Sword, repeatedly.
I've got the best expectations, too, and this reader did not love up to those expectations. This is why I frequently go out searching for these Mangas to read them myself like some Otaku Neet, because the quality just doesn't live up to expectations otherwise when viewing these recap videos.
That divine dragon form looked absolutely badass, holy shit.
I don't get why Pulala stayed in the party after being left to be eaten by the fenrir
Right? Not only left her, but stunned her to slow her down AND TOOK HER STUFF?!?! Why the HELL would anyone go back to that?
@@gungrave254 - Considering they got the MC's adventure license pulled she was probably afraid they would do the same to her if she left. So she'd have been jobless if she quit.
Though if the "hero" could have done that to her after his display of cowardice is pretty debatable. As for why the "hero" didn't attempt to do this to Alicia. It's pretty clear she's well known outside of her association with the "hero" party as a powerful Saintess that is revered around the world for her abilities. So convincing the kingdom she's useless and should have her license pulled would have been next to impossible even before the "hero" disgraced himself.
@@thesacredlobo Indeed. The MC did not have such a reputation but the other party members do. The mage is very well known for having powerful magical abilities. She would not have a hard time finding work with any other group. On top of that, if she left the group also it would lead to rumors of the fall of the hero party.
Though I would have loved to see him try to do that to the Saintess. A punch to the gut only to look at her face and realize that it did nothing and that he was about to get folded like an omelet.

Nope it's something else.
The real lesson is not hide your abilities/not mention how much you help the team till its too late. Honestly most authors using this kicked out troupe can't come up with good reasons why the mc is kicked out. They just have the party call mc unless and call it a day.
"Ah, I've been kicked out for being useless because I concealed my true skills and thus appeared useless"
Wtf, why is this becoming so common?
I mean for once this is the case usually they actually think their useless and are using their full power it's just the idiot heros who didn't realize it
@@hibye-dieNah, in those cases the MC for some reason simply refuses to say, "Hey, I've been boosting your power by +400% every fight; go ahead and try one where I *actually* do nothing and see how it goes." 80% of them lack any spine and show no value for their own skills. This is why developing people skills is such an important trait for people. If I was ever going to remove the one guy in the party I would try to do so on good terms. Why ruin a working relationship just to be petty. Also if I thought someone was being legitimately a drag on the party. I would simply address it and ask them privately.

even Goku would be like "it's a shame everyone doesn't see your true potential. come with me. you would be the best sparing partner ever." Sayians adaption level is always like that. once they see a move they would pick it up fast. both Goku and Broly are good examples of this passive ability. it's rare when this happens in real life. black belts would always not let those type of people go. mostly because it makes them look good in front of rival schools.
Looking forward to part 2
Ariake doesn't need overwhelming power, he just needs to use his brain. Jack of all trades master of none who doesn't need to over power others, just determine and exploit their weakness.
These "kicked from the hero's party" plots are another repeated-to-death plot that's getting old, but I gotta admit this one's actually kinda good. Quite likely the best I've seen even.
Admittedly, it's still power-fantasy guilty-pleasure tier trash. It's more like a pretty but ordinary rock rather than a diamond in the rough, but I still somewhat enjoyed it. It's far better than the others of the same plot which are just clods of dirt by comparison.
(That said, in regards to "kicked out of the hero's party" plots, it's almost insane how every single one seems to follow almost precisely the exact same formula down to the letter. This one does the same, but it's at least presented in a way you could actually understand the hero party being that stupid. I also like how the rest of the world reacts to the hero party's downfall in a believable and reasonable manner. I mean, so many predecessors have followed this exact plot, it's about time SOMEBODY got it right!)
(Wait! Oh no! I just realized it! The "kicked out of the hero's party" plot is undergoing evolution right before our eyes! Each new generation finds what works, new writers are inspired by it, and this pond-scum trash of a plot is slowly evolving into something respectable!)
Looking forward to part 2!! The MC is so chill hahaha
