SOAD has some of the sickest drum sounds and fills and stood out as a very unconventional sounding band when it first came out when I was a kid. I remember listening to their music on an alternative rock compilation cassette album for the first time.
Love these vids man. Been playing drums for almost 2 yrs now .. (after 32 yrs on guitar) Knowing song structure and such from guitar has been a huge help on drums. But these shorts are great for learning different fills and ideas without having to learn a whole song I'll never play.
My son is 12 & a metalhead. Lol. The timing of this because he's constantly blaring it in his room now. Plus the book release. Amazing dude. I'll give this one a shot now. 👊👊👊🤘🤘🥁🖤🥁🖤
