The reason Rusty got negated when you chained Rank up magic for Kali yuga is because the Kali Yuga field negate isn't an ignition effect that resolves on summon. It's part of the summon condition. It applies the moment Kali Yuga hits the field and will negate anything that was part of the chain you activated the rank up magic in.
This means they can't try to stop Kali Yuga on summon with something like an Imperm or a Droplet.

Raider’s wing isn’t the thing that is triggers wise strix effect btw at 8:05. Its second effect is triggered by a raidraptor xyz effect. It was your arsenal falcon that triggered it.

I've never played Raidraptors until that recent XYZ event. I crafted the pure version after as it is so good. Going to definitely try out this version as soon as I get more Ultra Rare CP!
