Hi! It’s funny but I had never heard of Lantern Moon until a couple of weeks ago. Vickie Howell received the same thing and unboxed it. Everything is really beautiful! What a lovely gift! I’ll be interested in seeing you knit with them. It will be fun! They are very expensive though but beautiful! Enjoy!💗

I typically prefer metal needles because of how fast I tend to unconsciously move my hands...when they aren't cramping. That set though is beautiful and I bet its VERY expensive based on the material alone and the exquisite craftsmanship just adds to it. Congrats on receiving that!

@@JoannesWeb ah, that makes a bit more sense then. The $300 for the Ebony wood alone is not that far off if I have my prices right in this weird market. Ebony is EXPENSIVE and a fantastic hard wood! Random fact: some woods have been used for hunting weapons and tools in the past over metals because they actually are harder and hold up better to the use. Those woods tend to also be incredibly expensive in this day partly because of the rarity of the trees and partly because of just how good the wood tends to be as a material.
@@JoannesWeb I am actually knitting a giant sweepy tie on skirt right now that can double as a blanket! Its somewhat frustrating but I am having so much fun! I started out with US size 7 then did increases and moved up to size 8 and now the bulk of it is being knit in size 9. All of it is acrylic and its a nice mix of mostly camouflage with random sections of navy, grey, and coffee brown!
Beautiful! Now you need to make a set like this for my husband to purchase Knitter’s Pride:))
