Your expectations are what create the life you are already living. So, if you expect that people are mean and rude, then you will find more mean and rude people show up around you, BUT if you expect that most people are kind hearted and caring, then you will attract those caring and kind hearted people into your life. This is how it works with all subjects of your life.
Your perception and expectations come from your beliefs, and your beliefs begin in your mind as a thought. So when you change your thoughts, then you change your beliefs, which changes your perceptions and expectations of the world around you.
The most powerful thing you can do right now to begin to change your life, is to change the way you think about you. If you love yourself, then that will be reflected in the world around you.
