I like this game and your playthrough of it. I would like to see the side quests since, even though I like the game, its just not feasible for me to pick it up. So I'll play it vicariously through you.
Hello! Thank you so much for so many great videos! :) How do we know once used to block, a feat card cannot be used again to block another attack? I did not see that in the rules. :) Many thanks!
Thanks for telling me about my error for the boss! Also do you know how that Dark shard is activated? If it is activated during the instant step I don't get how Darkness would be discarded? Do you activate it while you are drawing runes? Thanks so much Marcel!!
I can't normally watch playthroughs, especially when someone is reading a book to me (hate this when playing in real life), but have to take my hat off to you. Enjoyed the lot, learnt how to play the game ready for my play this evening. Loved the narration and the FX and music you added to make it more immersive. Subscribed as a result. Tip top job!
Great stuff thanks Colin The game looks fab. Love the mechanisms. They should be really fiddly but instead flow smoothly imho. I tried to watch Doug's playthrough which is still in the tabs but have been having problems with concentration. Looking forward to catching up with Doug and see which options he took. I agree about doing the main quest for more xp then doing the side quests for fun. But hopefully there will be loot in them thar side quests? Everyone love loot! lol Can't wait for the next instalment!
Haha! Thanks so much Paul! Already in the midst of recording adventure 2!! So far the mechanics have been solid just a few items that need clarification. Thanks again!
Thank you, was waiting for your playthrough following the mixed reviews. Up to now is fun and really exciting for the viewer also, imaging you playing it hehe Adventure 2 please
Awesome play through! I've been reading the rulebook and forums and have been getting cold feet. Now I can't wait to have some time to play later this week. This really helped bring everything together for me. Thanks again! Oh, and chapter 2, then a side quest sounds perfect.
@@OneStopCoopShop Your play through inspired me to play the first two chapters. I had a great time! I did want to share that the Chapter 2 story had references to items that I hadn't encountered. I'm mentioning this as it's possible they are items from the side quests so the side quests may be more important than they seem. Possibly a leveling up / building out your character shorter interlude between bigger adventures. I plan to go back and play the side quest I skipped in my next session to see if this is true. Hopefully this info is helpful (and correct), and it may be worth doing your side quest before chapter 2.
So, If/when you die in Trudvang Legends to come back in the same location and with 6 health and add a Wyrd card to your Feat deck. What happens if you die again? Just pop back with 6 and no worries? OR add another card?
10 scenarios in. You can lose in a way by getting the worse story outcome. The story still holds up, but the combat mechanic is getting boring. I’m already thinking of how to swap out this aspect. I think this game is perfect for DUN. Trudvang story with DUN dungeons and combat. Perfect!
I don't believe so. I didn't see anything. Nonetheless it was a great playthrough. Inspired me to play through the first story last night. Now I'm hooked and can't wait to continue the journey
Great Video. Played through the first campaign last night. Using Volgr and the Hunter (forgot name). My question on the boss fight is if it goes more than one round do you keep the same feat cards until he is defeated or do you redraw new feat cards for each round of combat? Looking forward to watching these after play my campaign. :)
Thanks for watching! I would say you draw new feat cards every round of combat for sure! You do that for the normal enemies so don't see why that would be different here!
Side quest! My lass and I are really enjoying this game. There's not much of a challenge but the story is fun to follow. You took the same characters and all of the same choices as us in this scenario. For the boss, is it not two attacks instead of one attack that is doubled?
Thanks so much for watching! I put a subtitle in cause yes boss attacks are one attack per player not one huge attack haha!! Glad you two are enjoying it!
🎶🎶In the Trollbridge Mountains of Virginia, on the trail of the lonesome pine."🎶🎶 Hard to take the story seriously when I keep imagining Laurel and Hardy being the characters in the story! Concentrate, Paul, concentrate!
I set this up a week ago and got COVID the next day so haven't gotten to play it yet but looks great. The main criticism seems to be that you cant lose the game but I have no issue with that. It's pretty much the same as lands of galzyr where it's just about going on a an adventure and enjoying the story. I can see combat getting repetitive eventually but will see if that's enough to make you or I lose interest in the whole game
I can answer for Colin. The enemy performs a number of attacks equal to heroes in the game. But those individual attacks can be assigned to heroes as the players choose, just like when fighting multiple monsters. So for example, one tank-y hero with a lot of defense might take all the attacks from the boss - Mike
Idk why this game costs 100 bucks.

Got you thanks so much for watching!!
Adventure 2 for sure!
Thanks for watching!!!

Addictive isn't it? Ha ha ha...
Adventure 2 please! And may the gods be with you!

Awesome! So glad to help and have loads of fun with your first play!!
Yes!! I have been waiting on this playthrough!! Opened my copy but have yet to get it to the table
Thanks for watching and pull it out!!
Also you are right about exploring. As long as you are free of monsters you can do a location and point of interest.
Awesome thank you!!
Great stuff thanks Colin

When are we going to see more Trudvang Legends???
Already recorded part 2 so soon!!

Thanks so much! If you like sorry games I feel this one will not disappoint! Chapter 2 coming soon!!

Just pop back 6 health I think!
32:51 I think it was an example for the split of the hero because I don't think, here, the hero can go to the left region without a boat, no?
Maybe? That sounds right?

That would be awesome......
During the boss fight his attack multiplier is based on number of heroes. So in your case two cleavers attack's twice 3 damage each
Yup I missed that! Did the klingon subtitles not show up?
I don't believe so. I didn't see anything. Nonetheless it was a great playthrough. Inspired me to play through the first story last night. Now I'm hooked and can't wait to continue the journey
Ah so cool!! I'll have to check those titles thanks!!

@@OneStopCoopShop Must have missed the subtitle. I don't think it's clear because that's how we played it at first and boy did I get a stomping.
Haha yes it can be brutal!!

Hahahahah!!!
Looks awesome!
Do you plan on continuing your Arkham Horror LCG Edge of the Earth playthrough? I’d love to see you finish it!
Thanks so much and yes I do plan to finish edge of the earth!
Nice work as always. So overall you liked it yeah? It looks different to other adventure games I have. I have my copy on the way.
So far I do! We will see if it lasts!

Also my POI sheet won't slot all the way into my board so I can't see the letters in the slots.
That's exactly it! Do far quite happy with it and excited to continue! Hope you feel better soon!!
Have you tried the try solo mode and if so which did you prefer?
I have not sorry!
You have to get that sweet sweet XP first!
I agree! Just finished recording chapter 2!
So when you say he has to attack twice because there are 2 heroes does that mean he attacks each hero once or each hero twice?
Ah sorry for the confusion here. He should attack as many times as there are players so that is 2 times here. Each attack you can decide who defends!
I can answer for Colin. The enemy performs a number of attacks equal to heroes in the game. But those individual attacks can be assigned to heroes as the players choose, just like when fighting multiple monsters. Great thanks. For a simple game theres a lot of little rules to miss
I missed that one haha!!
Forward not sideways.
Got you Mike!!
great video
Airboat you watching!!
