Thank you for this Adam. You explained it very well for even myself to understand it clearly!
You sir are a great skilled teacher, you have a very nice way of explaining complicated things very easily.
Thank you for upploading this.
Excellent videos so far. Keep in mind that OPEX factors into a key performance metric for most businesses; EBITA (earnings before interest, taxes and amortization). OPEX reduces EBITA, which can be very undesirable for companies, particularly those that are publicly traded, as EBITA is seen as a good measure of a companies profitability. Non-cash items like depreciation, taxes and capital spend do not factor into EBITA, which is why some companies view capital expenditure as more advantageous than OPEX.
Thanks for the Great Content Adam, Really like the way you explain the concepts. appreciate the hard work you have put to make this available for us free.
I appreciate that!

Really grateful for the wonderful ...easily understandable training materials!!
Glad to hear that! :)
You saved my money and time. I am so grateful to you Adam.
Hi Adam! Really good content, thank you for sharing your knowledge! A suggestion for the differences table towards the end of the video, perhaps you can create two tables to illustrate the CapEx and OpEx for (1) on-prem and (2) cloud options. Found the current version of the table a bit confusing or may be misleading as theoretically, there may be both CapEx and OpEx for all options (e.g. if you own the infra, you would have operational expenses for maintenance..) Do correct me if inaccurate though, or if I misunderstood. Cheers!
Thanks a lot for this course, it is help me so much to understand Azure!
Hello Adam, grea presentation, great course. Thank you, so easy to follow.
However, no one is considering the data read and write in these expenditures, which may cost quite a lot in OpEx model.

When do you plan to upload the next? We are anxiously waiting
Wow, thanks! Next three will land in the next couple of days 😁. This will close module 1 so about 15-20% of the exam. Soon the offline materials will get interactive practice tests instead of just readable. Work in progress :)
Excellent Job!!!
Thank you!
Hello Adam, Thanks for making all these usefull tutorial on Azure. I used to visit and repeat your videos whenever I need to check on any topic which is quite clear in your slides. Good thing is you have made short, small and crispy videos. One point to add here while talking on CapEx vs OpEX: in case of Eraly termonation, we can terminate at any time in Azure but this may not be helpful in case a Customer has cimitted for reserved instance/resources. Please comment on your thought?
Nice again! Thanks Adam!

Many thanks for great content Adam...!!!
Your Episode, Summary, Cheat Sheet and Practice tests are well thought with a great structure.
I'm using a split screen on MS Edge browser - Letting me back and farward between the Episodes and the Practice tests.
THIS IS AWESOME! :D
Brilliant
Thank you :)
Thank you Adam for excellent study materials. From Azure perspective electricity of own data center is considered OpEx or CapEx?
It's a simple question on when do you pay, OpEx means over time regurarly, CapEx means pay a lot at start and lower amount over time. For Azure DC is CapEx because they need to invest millions to build DC.
It's Thee Best , request you to upload the videos and content on Udemy for easier interface and to avoid ads.
Please a urdu Subtitle if you can I shall be very thankful to you for this act of kindness
Capital and Operational Expenditures
Does anyone knows how this tax reduction works ?
Tax reduction depends on your country law, it's not Azure specific. Many countries allow for tax deductions based on your costs.
God or whatt??🙏🙏
best
Awesome, can we have tutorial on az-100,az-303,az-304
Thank you, maybe in the future I can make one :)

hehehhe, thanks! :D
can we say that capex is on premise ?
Kinda
@@AdamMarczakYT thanks u sir for ur response ...started ur tutorial ..till now everything is greatly taught ..student from India❤️
@@AdamMarczakYT 😃
FINE
THANKS
Please add a urdu subtitle
Comparison Capex-Opex is promo propaganda from Microsoft... comparison isn't complete and gives a very positive view on cloud vs vs negative for on premise...
I'm not sure this video is promotion really. Both CapEx and OpEx have their advantages, this video just outlines how OpEx is a model that is used in the cloud and outlines it's benefits for that particular use case. It's like riding uber or renting a car versus buying it yourself. There are advantages of either approach but they solely depend on your use case. That said, many companies move all their assets to the cloud which would indicate that there are more benefits than the drawbacks of the model. We will see what future will tell.
Awesome explanation!
Thank you :)
