This was real New York back in the day. People weren’t so sensitive back then and see how nice the cab driver asked her that question and she responded very nicely to him. I wish things could be still like that today.
This was such a unique series ! It captured the unassuming, allowing real insight into lives we typically would never know ! Now the World is so screwed up, if they did this series today, it would probably capture people being murdered ! Sad commentary on life on planet Earth, 2023 !
Why should they reboot it today? I mean, this show exists and we're here on UA-cam watching it. It shouldn't matter when this show would've been made. It exists.

I vividly remember an episode that featured the older blonde cab driver. Her passenger was also an older woman who told a deeply personal and traumatic story that i think involved witnessing a family member's murder. At the end when the driver revealed she was being recorded for the show,rather than being confused or upset the passenger was deeply moved and thanked her for listening and being so compassionate,and they hugged. I wish I could find it again.
