17:01 yeah, that’s exactly how K-pop survival shows/auditions work. Sometimes, even if someone isn’t super skilled at singing, dancing, or rapping, if they have stunning visuals, they’ll still get picked. Then they train them until they become the perfect idol, lol. I mean, people like JL are rare 😂-good at everything. Also, if someone’s good at one or two things, they’ll still get selected, but these days, visuals are in crazy demand compared to older K-pop generations.
Singing the National Anthem has been a way to assess the raw skills since the song is direct. Changsub really wanted to cast people who he can work train properly
I agree... I do think that Juwon is good but JL and Park Han deserves more..but then, this is something we can't control and let's just focus and keep supporting who we stan. . . Maybe Juwon would be part of my list too, because of his performance in episode 2. 👍
Team rhythm's chemistry is so good. They perform so well together and more importantly, their practice session evokes a healthy relationship. The teamwork is so good I don't mind them debuting.
I totally agree what you said for the MVP voting part, it depends on how many fans of each member are present on the venue. Downside is if they picked a particular member and he is not the best performer and that team loses, other team will steal the best performer/member..easy.
Completely agree with you!.. audience deciding who's the winner and MVP was unfair.. this is a stupid rule. they should just call an artist or producers and let them decide..
Koreans don't want to be overpowered by other nationalities that's why they didn't chose JL as MVP. They also made Ghelee moved to no. 2 instead of no. 1 as prettiest face in KPOP and replaced her with a Korean kpop member. Also, in Korean reality shows they put foreigners in there but it's always a korean that wins even it's obvious that the foreigner contestants were stronger and smarter.
JL and Steven both foreigners so expect them to be bumped off top spot. but i really like Juwon. Henis talented with a great personality too. As long JL debuts i am good
Yes, Juwon did a good job, but we can't deny that JL did it better. Although everyone is working to reach their decent potential, it's still unfair to disregard someone's hard work, or should I say, their hard-earned abilities. I just hate that this keeps happening: people who deserve recognition are left out because of petty reasons, like voting for someone simply because they share the same nationality. It's incredibly unfair, and it's crazy.
how i wish the Universe League prod can copy what the singer in china when it comes to audience voting system all of them were musically inclined so they can know who performed well not only rank bcoz they were fans or maybe they can also copy the Philippines strict rules when it comes to performing (talent wise) or even hire idol judges to decide who's who I'm totally disappointed on some korean fans they were literally bias to the other nationalities 😢
There was no structure for the audience to guide us in the bench players choosing part. I wish there was maybe a set of pictures where we can see who got chosen already. It feels so detached in this format.
I think the ones wearing black are the reserve while those in colored are those who got pick first, the main players. If any of your subscribers think I'm wrong, feel free to correct me.
They are not reserves but the bench team, they are like the second team they will be the one to battle in ep 3 this week. Their score will be added to the first team and the highest team will be the overall winner
@@Haze-vj7ft fr! although she was consumed by her emotions she still managed to play her role in the performance like any other member of the group and that was her redemption arc. what an admirable quality she got there!

10:12 Yeah, that’s true, I agree. But I think the directors are focusing more on potential than just their current abilities.
