3 Tips to Get Better at Disc Golf!
• Essential Tips and Tec...
I like everyone’s videos. If it’s disc golf, I watch it. Nobody says you must do this and that, they say here’s what I’m trying, give it a shot. Some works for me and some doesn’t. I’m Always trying to improve and you as content creators help greatly. Thank you and I look forward to more.
I think that’s one of the best part of the disc golf community, we are all just trying to get better and help others get better! I’m glad you enjoyed the videos, and thank you! I look forward to making more content 😄
Best amateur tips on YT right here!
😂 thank you… I think
Buddy already has a banger rebirth envy.
The are 🐐ed too, on how the feel, look, and fly!
Got mine on preorder, can't wait!@@GingerSnapDiscGolf
I don't think that flipping the disc from vertical to horizontal in the backswing is slower than normal, as long as you are able to get back to the vertical position. If you look up antti kotilainen, hes a Finnish player who does this to an extreme degree and can bomb. You can even see some players on tour do it, like AB, although they do it to a much lesser degree. That said if you think it will help you then go for it
Yea I think if you can keep it horizontal it can definitely still be fast! Obviously, everybody has a natural way that is faster for them to do things… but I think when it gets past horizontal exposing the flight plate is when it can cause a slower pull through because at some point you have to bring it back to horizontal! Unless you are just throwing Hyzer😄

Brother, I love your hat!
Thank you, it’s one of my favorites! 😄
You have no business doing tutorials.
Technically… it was more of an experiment than a tutorial 😅
@@GingerSnapDiscGolftechnically you still have no business doing tutorials
😂 ok
I would say if you want to get better at disc golf you gotta stop watching bodanza. He might be able to throw far but that's not because of his form at all it's because of the size of his biceps and his ability to accelerate his throwing arm. Go watch overthrow break down drew gibsons form and Simon's form because that's where bodanza learns it. Your first 2 mistakes is holding your disc vertically which forces you to rotate your wrist the other is the fact that you give yourself the least amount of space to accelerate your disc because you're trying to lag your arm behind loosely like bodanza, when the first thing that goes through after your plant foot touches ground is your throwing arms elbow.
And the other thing is overthrow explains why that yank you had was so snappy. It's because it was the best grip lock of your life which was actually where you were supposed to be releasing, your plant foot should be 90 degrees or more away from the target and your heart should be close to 45 degrees or less to the camera
I appreciate the input, I’m always up for people to share their opinions… I think you misunderstood the point of the video though. I was trying something to see if it generated more snap, and consistently talked throughout the video about not being sure if it did or didn’t. I know how to generate snap, and the throw you’re referring to as a the best grip lock of my life I even said was a yank lol. I actually do watch overthrow, and they have a video about holding the disc vertical and they call it “pouring the coffee”… I know my form needs work just like everybody else. I’m just a red head throwing the best I can 😂
@theemonegro Holding the disc slightly vertically is fine bro, look at Ghannon and Ricky.
That’s what I’m sayin👨🏼🦰
For those of us who cannot accept that it takes 3 to 5 years to throw as far as the guys who have thrown for 3 to 5 years, we look for newer players who are having success through that trial and error process. This is why we love bonanza, if it works for him.... it's likely that it's achievable for those of us in that 2nd and 3rd year.
Keep the videos coming. I like your personality. At the end of the day... that's what I'm drawn to.
