SHARKS HAPPEN in my opinon is the best show on youtube for information on white sharks, all of the big sharks anyway. Say hi to Hal, trust me its the way to go.

Absolutely the best program on conservation of Great Whites and other species. Music was spot on with the huge shark swinging by slowly. All the Very Best to those of few that believe in and work hard dedicating their lives to conservation. Jim Rodgers

You never see footage of baby great whites, it'd be interesting to know more regarding their mating patterns etc

The phrase "slightly eccentric " springs 2 mind with Franklin. I love his enthusiasm tho. Awesome documentary, really interesting and informative.

White sharks do have natural predators...orcas that's why there's been a major disappearance near Africa's south coast. They have had numerous white shark cage diving for tourists go out of business ever since that orca duo went on a shark serial killing spree. They found 7 sharks massacred in one day. Surgical liver removals typical of orcas and several eye witnesses. The white sharks that survived probably fled to safer waters but the population on south African coast has not since recovered.

Simon nellist, Vladimir popov, and ALOT of other folks who've been eaten may disagree with them not being occasional man-eaters. Js.

Sure. The amount of people that have been eaten compared to the amount of opportunities the sharks have had to eat people is extremely small. Nellist was a very gruesome encounter however.

@@mikeklokus2568 Right. Definitely not a common occurrence ( although there's been an uptick for sure past couple years), but was just saying if they're old, injured, or plain just been unlucky hunting they will attack us to consume. It worries me to death the Ocean Ramseys Will go out to a whale carcass where the sharks have GORGED hundreds of pounds of blubber an have no interest in feeding ,and swim with them like that's how an average White or tiger shark would react to us swimming up and touching them. People are going to emulate that an it'll be ........ farewell and adieu ye old Spanish ladies farewell and adieu ye ladies of Spain for we have orders to sail back to Boston.... nevermore shall we see you again.

@@mikeklokus2568 Right. That was HORRIBLE. Had I known it was what it was I don't think I would have watched it, but once I started watching I couldn't stop. I assumed it would just be him swimming then all the sudden disappearing, maybe see a fin or something. Much more gruesome than that though obviously.

I love Sharks happen ever since it began and still do I watch every show. However I love Sharks and while yes they do eat humans , so do bears ,so do lions , crocs btw, there is more to Sharks, especially the white shark, than them eating humans! Why is everyone so left and right with these animals?? Love them or hate them why not just be in the middle :/ I actually thought this was good and better than rubbish on shark week.
