Sekolah Alam Pacitan is one of the schools that is active in carrying out environmental awareness. Sekolah Alam Pacitan also carries out environmental awareness actions by inviting the community parents and the public through environmental day commemorations such as Earth Day, Environment Day, World Tree Planting Day, and others with tree planting activities, distributing plant seeds, cleaning beaches, and others.
Sekolah Alam Pacitan has become an adiwiyata school and to be a motivator for other schools. So far, Sekolah Alam Pacitan has assisted about 10 schools, 2 are still independent and 3 are provincial, the others are at the district stage. On the other hand, the teacher of Sekolah Alam Pacitan also invited local to care about the environment by holding workshops on processing kitchen waste into natural fertilizer in the form of ecoenzymes. So far, Sekolah Alam has also produced its own ecoenzymes and compost fertilizer.
At Sekolah Alam Pacitan itself, Environmental Education subject has been added to the learning materials which are then put into practice in daily habits such as sorting waste, processing waste, how to care for and preserve the environment. This is very important to love and care the environment since the early age.
