*Girl Mono* was the very first wig I ever purchased…but she fit my 21 3/4” too tight..so I returned her and avoided all Ellen Willa. Months later I discovered wigs have ‘adjusters’! Maybe the adjusters were cinched tight?!? I was sick because I just loved her. Anyway ‘ROP Liana’ (Moonstone) and ‘BT Destiny’ (Roca MargaritaBlond), are my two fave’s. Thank you for this review Marlene. It’s so fun getting to see all the choices you love.

Hey, thanks for showing how the wigs look side by side, reviews waste of time once you know the differences in manufacturers. I am a Floride girl too and often the problem of face sweating happens with wigs. Any suggestion on wigs or makeup that could help? Thanks, you are looking great.

I do cinch it in a bit and wear a wig grip, but I can see why you'd be hesitant. I'll see if I can find someone that has 20.5" and may have Kendall. I've heard you mention that you struggle with some wigs due to, I think you called it, a low hairline. I am unsure of your exact verbage, however I, too, have the same struggle. I have waisted so much money thinking it was a sizing issue or simply my mishapened head/face. 🤯 Is there any advice at all you could give me? Any certain brands/wigs that fit you better than others? If I want true full coverage, what do I do? Should I buying those full lace glue down type wigs or am I just simply doomed to have beautiful wigs with off color edges? I have the most trouble at my sideburns onto into the front top portion of my ears. Please help!!! I'm sorry for rambling but I've never heard anyone else express this til I came across your videos. Thank you for sharing and being real. It helps more people than you know.
Hi Bam, Thank you for stopping by. I know, the struggle is real. I stay away from short wigs with napes shorter than 3.5" due to my low hairline in the back. As for brands, the ones that seem to run the smallest on my 21.5" C is Amore, Noriko, and the partially hand-tied Ellen Wille. I stay away from those brands. While no wig regardless of brand will completely cover my sideburns, I wear them regardless of coverage. I have root powder (I just get the WOW or Clairol brands at Ulta) in just about every color and match my hair to the root of the wig. I also don't wear my hair completely pulled back, but I never did even when my bio was long. I have seen many wearers choose wigs the color of their bio and pull their hair out then blend with the fibers. Since I keep my bio hair pretty short, I don't do that. As for the full lace glue-down wigs, I have never attempted any of those. The wigs I wear and review are all medical grade which means they are meant to appear as natural as possible. Try not to be too hard on yourself. We know we're wearing wigs, but in the 3 years I've been wearing wigs, no one has ever come up to me, pulled my hair back, seen the ear tabs, or noticed the root powder. If you're looking for styles that have plenty of stretch, look at Belle Tress, Estetica, Jon Renau Lite Collection, Henry Margu, and Gabor. I find that Belle Tress has a good amount of stretch and coverage, little or no permatease, density on the light side, and appear really natural with gorgeous lace fronts.
