I'll need to become a much stronger chess player before I find diminishing value in your lessons. I think you provide a tremendous value for the majority of your subscribers. Thank You ... again! Also, the Nepomniachtchi-Carlsen armageddon game in yesterday's CCT quarterfinals was a prime example of "it ain't over 'til it's over" after Magnus blundered badly on move 19, but went on to win. A few important lessons in chess psychology were evident. Could be material for a future lesson. Like the British say, "Stay calm and carry on!" 😉
Amazing to hear your kind feedback. Even one 2250 ELO player said he benefits greatly from my content. I will probably make a video about confabulating the opponent and fighting back from bad positions.
As I have already said earlier and I am glad to say that your teaching style is amazing...very simple and instructive. Thank you with great respect to the approach to chess by you.
Thank you! I studied mathemathics for one year. Perhaps the habit comes from there. And it is also because I really want to show connections and cause/effect relationships in this channel (the WHHHYYY question).
My pleasure. I don't know about the books, but there are some good Chessable courses, including one from Nils Grandelius. Even Andras Toth's 1 d4 d5 repertoire is mainly based on Slav.
Even though I'm currently a Jobava London player as White, I dislike facing Qd4 as Black. This is a great way to handle it. Though it might not become an exchange version, I feel I have more tools to deal with it.
Haha but as I have described, the same idea can present itself in different move orders! ☺️ And those opponents will probably not repeat the Exchange Slav after your first game!
@@perteadsf4914 I'm on about a 300-400 lines in a chessable opening repertoire not a chess rating, even better would bee at least a 800 line plus LTR (Lifetime repertoire from Dr Can) but ill take what i can get as i'm now convinced having been playing the slav solid for about 3 months its the way to go for my repertoire...
Are you serious bro ? I thought only the KID could give some such an agressive position. But I have stopped because of the exchange variation 😂 What do you consider the most agressive the KID, the slav or semi-slav ??? By the way, great content ✌️🔥

I knew I wasn't gonna regret subscribing to this channel. Even at 2250, I learn so much from your videos.
Such feedback is so motivating for me. Doing my best for all levels!
Same bro I am 2100
@@AaradhyaSharma-ho8um Thank you! Is it online rating or ELO?

Even at 2350, I like this comment
As a slav player I really enjoyed this, never even came across the ideas in books, very instructive video 🎉💯👏👏thank you
❤️ Slav is good!
Woww !!! Exactly what I needed - thank you so much
You're so welcome!

That is amazing to hear, thank you. Please share the channel with your chess friends so I can keep on producing similar content 🙏
Really interesting games. The first game was a real beauty. Thanks for this lesson.
Thank you! I love that one too!
I'm a Slav player myself, don't face the exchange variation often but have a secret weapon against it now! TY 😊 🙏
Glad to hear that! Please let me know how your games will go from this line!
Simply loved the video and ideas within. Thank you Dr Can.
So glad to hear it! Thank you.
Great lesson!
I noticed you love the word THUS 😂

Great value content 🎉
Appreciate it!
Awesome explanation...please make a video on ruy lopez opening and attacking ideas in it
Thank you! I will keep that in mind.
Eye opening content

A great video sir ❤❤
I ensure that I will use the same strategy as suggested in the video in my games...
Go for it! And please post your victory here on this comment section.
Great! Thank you for this course! What are the best books on Slav defence please?

Dr. Can thinks that the loss of both queens signals the beginning of the end game.
It is mysteriously difficult to precisely define the endgame in chess. So don't overgeneralize it.
I always play the slav. Im 1380 now thanks to you 🔥
Good choice! What was your rating when you first started watching this channel?
The only problem with this style of attack is that there probably won’t be a chance to play it against the same opponent a second time lol.
Haha but as I have described, the same idea can present itself in different move orders! ☺️ And those opponents will probably not repeat the Exchange Slav after your first game!
A 300-400 line Slav on chessable would be nice....
At that rating the main goal in any phase (opening, middlegame, endgame) is to avoid blunders while exploiting the opponents blunders.

I hope in one year or two, those days will come.
This strategy looks applicable for many French positions. What do you think?
Correct! Here we have a better version as the terrible French bishop is a very good piece on f5!

Thank you so much! It depends on the precise variation, there are extremely sharp Semi-Slav lines too.
