Great video! Question: Is the carbon fiber shaft for looks or does it reduce vibrations? I just ordered the pro shifter but I have time to change my order. If the carbon fiber shaft has an aluminum core I won’t bother changing my order, but if the carbon fiber shaft is hollow then there may be a performance benefit. Thanks for the information in advance!

Not without cutting the boot, but the boot isn’t needed. I ran my previous shifter for two years without the boot, and there was literally no buildup of anything.

Do u need to put in the lockout bolts or is that just to lock out 5,6 and r?

Actually, you can put the factory boot back on, you just can't use the plastic collar/retainer
