Black Bear Sow and Cubs searching for food

Up close observation of black bears. Had the chance to observe them from the safety of the vehicle. Always give wildlife room to roam and do there thing.

Wow - What a special sighting.. and happily from relative safety. Clearly Momma Bear wasn’t concerned about the proximity of the vehicle. Fascinating creatures. Very cool indeed!

Great footage. The sow seems kind of lean for this time of year. What was the berry crop like? It might be a tough winter. Thanks for the video.

I forgot to mention this video was taken in Mid-August, I just had kind of forgotten about it and just got around to posting it finally. It was a busy summer ! Really enjoyed watching how the bears go about their business in the bush !

Merci ! oui c'est bien ça, les ours étaient le long du chemin et des cyclistes n'était pas alerte dutout à se qui se passait dans le fossé ... heureusement les ours faisaient leur affaire eux aussi !
