Very impressive I have to say. However from a historical point of view I wonder what happened to the original cast iron roof canopy and supports over the platforms at the original Port Dock station ,shame they couldn't have been incorporated into the new but historic station.
I think it was demolished when the original station closed and was replaced with the police complex. From the photos I've seen it was in a pretty bad state by the 80s.
