- Cosmic Mind ON PIANO! This is Byakuren's theme from Touhou 12 UFO. It's also one of those special songs that reminds me how much I really love Touhou Project. Learning this piece is actually kinda easy, but arranging it is a whole new story. I feel like you have to strike the perfect balance between "epic final boss theme" and "emotional/sad music", something that's not easy to do. Enjoy!

now,I know that idolatrize world is the peak of ZUN music but emotional skyscraper is the peak before,that,I don't know how someone can put so much emotion in a song.
When ZUN called the song emotional skyscraper he really meant it and was no way a mistranslation

i guess the best word to describe what the theme gives is "awe", its so and utterly emotional and wondrous, as if you can do nothing but stare and listen to whatever is in front of you, or like seeing something divine occur

because im on touhou 8 and im getting my ass beated by stage 4 and up
I 1CCed all games on Lunatic except for Touhou 3 and 9 which I don't play that much in general :)
Touhou 8 gets easier if you're using border team (Reimu and Yukari). Also, if there's a pattern you're having trouble with, don't bother death bombing as you'll waste 2 of your bombs that way. Just use the regular Reimu bomb.
Stage 4 has a lot of streaming if I remember correctly.
Btw you can watch Minogame let's play videos to learn some useful tips and tricks :)
@@ViddyWellSA11 the thing is, my touhou 6 to 8(ones i played and got 1cc) all of them had this 1 sec delay when i stopped focusing after passing like the whole stage focusing, and this is giving me trouble on 8 because team mechanic and idk how to fix
Sounds like input delay issue. Remember that these games are pretty old and need patches to work on modern Windows. "V Patch" is a must for these games, you can easily find it online if you haven't installed it already :)

You finally got to it! This such an impressive piece. Its one of my go-to's anytime I'm feeling down. Its unique in that it sounds both somber, but incredibly hopeful, a feeling that you capture excellently. It's honestly hard to describe exactly how such things make me really feel. Byakuren is laced with many concepts that are easy to relate to. Fear of Death, and trying to overcome that. Trying to live ones best life following rules and principles but understanding that not all is as it seems, and learning to break codes occasionally is part of life... Doing your best to include those excluded and protect those that need it... Overall UFO is one of my favorite titles and, you most certainly do it justice. Its also a nice treat to see your gameplay along side it all... it makes it all just that much more special for what you do. I'm very happy to have seen you hit 8k. I hope you continue to enjoy doing what you do!

Your playing is so serene in the gentler moments of the piece, almost as if you're a meditating monk. I find this in stark contrast with my own sense of being when I sit down at the piano, which at times feels almost frenetic. You've left something important for me to study and assimilate, so I must thank you

Thank you so much! Unfortunately, I'm not that great at giving advice. I can tell you that personally I always prioritize the "emotional" aspect of my arrangements and I don't reallt know many details about the technical aspect of things.
I love all of these pieces to death, so I'm glad that I can convey my emotions during the performance and that people are noticing it.
As far as sheet music goes, I think it's possibile to play with such emotion even when reading music :)
