I love these episodes when stuff starts getting put together. It's always so fun seeing all this stuff come together after months of it being separate parts lying around. Of course, that makes storage a right pain, but...one problem at a time.
I built this when Hachette released it and it is a great build. Loved every minute of the build. My favorite so far! My only regret is the screws on the back of the seats, wish I had covered them with appropriate color vynil
Another great video Wayne. Just a few tips & observations.. some people have modded the near side light in that front panel by adding an led to make it work as all the other lights are working.. and have added a little pin to represent the knob for the heating control as well.
Tips .. don’t fix those seat grab rails until you actually screw the ceiling down; you will only loose or break them & same applies to the large grab rail on the rear platform (that gets attached to the upper floor panel much later in the build!). You might find it easier to tape the battery box underneath that rear metal underside of the platform too (again it’s a lot later before it’s screwed in & as the wiring to the switch is so fragile; it’s easy to break & you would have re-solder it .. but as Ian Campbell of Partwork Upgrades now has a power mod for this .. you might want to have a look at that too Wayne?).. he also has a bespoke dust cover for the Routemaster as well now.

Once again I watch your videos often but it's all a bunch of busy work I haven't seen one finish product it's like you're putting a bunch of screws and junk together and no finished product and if you do have a finished product where are they it's so hard to find all your videos look the same little bits of pieces. Show video of the finished product more then 5 second video . Someone's been following you for months putting all this stuff together spend time on finished model .

it is looking just as I remember it, put some tape onto the battery box as you will not connect it for a while and you don't want to damage the wires,
I may build this after the ecto 1 as my dad was a bus driver. Just hope agora done end up like eaglemoss delays and skipping parts

Hey Wayne I think you put the handrail on backwards on the back wall. The directions look like the rail goes the other way.

If it was a little bit bigger you could put a seat on top, a little steering wheel and motor and a little ride on!

at 14:14 the roof bars looked bent out of shape, what happened to them?
No idea. They are straight. There is a slight fish eye effect on the camera so it may be that
