Great to see you are progressing well on your Saxenda - it is day 2 for me on Saxenda so early doors. I can relate to your comment about catching a reflective view yourself in a window and thinking ...who the f### is that! - I can relate to that.
Thanks for sharing your journey! I'm just starting week 3 so I'm at 1.8 mg dosing. I havant loss any weight really but my issue isn't hunger, as I'm typically not hungry but I emotionally eat. That being said I have noticed that I'm much less hungry and that I have to force myself to eat more on my plate which I'm going to stop doing...duh.🙃
Congrats! I've lost 24 pounds in 10 weeks. I'm starting to really feel a difference both mentally and physically. I hit a plateau at Christmas but only a small one. Slow and steady wins, and not obsessing about one individual weigh in helps. I don't exercise much, just an hour walk twice a week but you have to start somewhere. Let's keep going!
That’s amazing! Way to go! I feel the same way mentally and physically. I too, try not to obsess on unfavorable weigh-ins and remind myself it’s going to take time. I also feel less guilty when indulging on occasion (being once every couple of weeks) since there’s success in between. Here’s to continued success and a downward trend!!
Hi Kris, i definitely needed that video. Day 1 for me, and I am quite excited. Congratulations on your weight loss. I'm looking forward to your next video. I know it says in the pack to combine the injections with eating healthy and exercise, but what is your routine to reach that weight loss? How many times do you go gym and what type of exercises you do? Also, what is your daily calorie intake? I am assuming you are using an app to keep track? X
Hi Simona! Thanks for watching, and the congratulatory words! I'll start by saying that I don't get to the gym as often as I'd like, so I don't really have a set routine in that regard. This has really fell apart for me in the start of the new year, and I need to commit myself to waking up earlier, or create the space in my schedule to exercise more. Ideally, I'd be happy with 3 to 4 days a week at the gym. When I do go, I'll mix it up between walking at a brisk pace on the treadmill (I generally do not like to run/job), and using the stair master. Sometimes, I'll do that for a full hour. Othertimes, I'll do it for 15 minutes then will hit the free weights and do some light weight lifting with dumb bells (bicep curls, tricep extensions, overhead press, butterflies, etc) usually 3 sets of 15 each. My daily calorie intake is tracked via the Noom app, which I got a one year subscription for free with my Saxenda. As far as what the calorie intake should be, check out an online tdee calculator (google search it). Let me know if you have any other questions!
@@theXchange I started on 29th of dec and then for 3 weeks I inject my self I reached 2.4 dose and then I stop for a week then last week start again from 0.6 today I up my dose 0.6 wasn’t working but todays one working not feeling hungry so let’s c…we eat Asian high carbs. Food rice pelaow chicken or lamb curry with oil 😃
I see! Cook with healthier oils…. incorporate vegetable. roasted broccoli 🥦 and cauliflower is delicious, for example. Use less rice in a serving, and exercise portion control.

You’re welcome! Thanks for watching! Over time, I’ve reduced my emotional eating almost completely, and exercising more really helps keep it at bay!
