More and more patients? I mean it doesn't help when you have people moving from other states and outside of the States. I have seen it first hand while taking a family member to ER or hospital, it seems no one would help or even acknowledge that you are on the hallway. So yeah, let's put a cap... Let's see how that goes.
I hear that this strike is indefinite. Im pregnant and my appointment is on Monday i dont know which provider i will see( whoever is there)bc all the nurse midwifes are gone. Bc its still open enrollment for my health plan , im leaving.. i dont want to end up giving birth at Providence Portland if midwifes and staff are missing not knowing which doctor you will get and then just temporary nurses on the floor.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. Women have been giving birth since the beginning of time. I'm sure you'll be fine.
