Most immigrants come here because of the value of the Sterling ...very unfair balance of trade globally....look at the whole England for instance !!Where is Gold where is diamond where is technology ....blah....so how they keep the Sterling on top and loot the world ...form so many global finance service industries to control global markets and rbe ones who refuses are labelled dictators by BBC so the whole world would turn against them including their own citizens...hah ,mmmh
Most immigrants will leave this country as soon as the Sterling drops
Old falling houses and streets smelling of sewer (just transfer between Canon street and Bank stn for instance)
      Bad food ,water etc
But the baddest thing is majority of immigrants kids are knifed like dogs in the streets and the government of footballers and celebrities and Sheikhs does nothing to help
Let's not start with the Micro economics of UK....main investors are....u know where you buy your booze n cigs
You think your government doesn't know all that that immigrants are vital here
English Man wants to be seated down in a restaurant and served like a King or on holidays with all his savings then start again ..that's why always depressed and can't have an adult conversation.
If immigrants arrived here and found the natives are civilized and moraled enough!!! then they'll behave the same
How countries like Dubai, Saudi do it .!!!
They are moraled enough and mostly ladies knows how to preserve their descency
In my country...Muslims and Christians live well together in peace....because everyone has / learnt respect for others...Not here

I live locally in Plumstead, which is a stone's throw from Woolwich. I am a Polish immigrant, so I am not local in the full sense of this word, but after many years, I developed some level of attachment. To my son, who was born in a local hospital and educated in the local school, this is his hometown. To me, Woolwich is just a remnant of what used to be a part of England. Now, when I have to walk through a local area, I do it quickly to avoid the aggressive eyes of the so-called ‘local residents’. Once, I was verbally attacked in Woolwich by a black man who called me a ‘white bitch’ for absolutely no reason. Can you imagine that? He was so aggressive that the whole incident took out my breath. That summarises my experience regarding Woolwich. Police, of course, did nothing; they are completely useless. God bless Britain and its indigenous population. This is not going to get better.

@perry, 1) In 1977, the Battle of Lewisham saw 500 members of the National Front, who were attempting to march through the area, and their police escort, attacked by more than 4000 counter-demonstrators.
      2) On 15 June 1974 a meeting by the National Front in Conway Hall resulted in a protest by anti-fascist groups. The following disorder left student-Kevin Gately from the University of Warwick-dead.
      3) Clement Blair Peach was a New Zealand teacher who was killed during an anti-racism demonstration in Southall, London, England. A campaigner and activist against the far right, in April 1979 Peach took part in a demonstration in Southall against a National Front election meeting in the town hall and was hit on the head, probably by a member of the Special Patrol Group (SPG), a specialist unit within the Metropolitan Police Service. He died in hospital that night.

Over the years I've noticed that pretty much all the standard arguments for mass immigration are fallacious (logically flawed) and they should be called out as such. There are plenty on this thread and others. For example:
"Immigration is payback for the British Empire" - 2 wrongs don't make a right fallacy
"Britain was colonised by Angles / Celts/ Romans etc." - Appeal to tradition / red herring fallacy
"Immigration improved the food / music etc" - post hoc rationalisation
"British people don't like immigration because they are racist" - Ad hominem fallacy
"Plenty of Brits live in Spain and France so Immigration is good" - Appeal to hypocrisy fallacy
None of these are sound arguments. Given that the people making them are supposedly the intelligent ones I'd expect better.

    • @skycloud4802

Not only to mention a sort of Ponzi scam of infinite growth model. That migrants apparently help falling birthrates, when naturally what must go up must come down anyway. Growth cannot be infinite.
We've also been told that migrants fill a skills gap, when before that, companies actually trained British low class people to fill it.

Yes, a level of immigration is inevitable because it is what humans have done since our species evolved. However, immigration needs to be controlled for everyone's benefit.

This is how a great Englishman sees the identity of his city disappear, becoming unrecognizable in his eyes, as well as his country in a multicultural confusion from which no predominant and cohesive identity stands out as there was before 1997.
The cosmopolitan London of yesteryear has disappeared submerged in a crowd that boasts that it is not genuinely English.
The white British population in 1971 fell to 93%, in 1981 it fell to 86%, in 1991 it fell to 80%, from 1991 to 2001 thanks to Tony Blair's policies it fell from 20% to 60%. In 2011 it fell to 45%, and the result of the last census in 2021 is 37%.
It's sad and nostalgic to see a city lose its own identity and see immigrants on the streets celebrating the absence of the white English population.
This gentleman is right when he says that liberals celebrate London because it embraces all other cultures, while their own can wither on the vine!

You learned the language if you didn't already speak it. You got jobs and paid your own way very quickly. Today, there are hundreds of thousands pouring over the southern border. They are not coming here through the front door. They don't have the language, and many never learn it. They have very few skills to offer. They need welfare and free stuff, paid for by the taxpayers. You may not talk about it. You must act as if they are sad and need our help. It is up to us to pay for them. Hundreds of thousands of them. They could stay and work to make their own countries better, but it is so much easier just to go to your country, since it is already good. It took centuries to make it that way. They don't see that. They just see it is good and they want to get what it offers. So what do they offer? I will leave it at that.

Past generations of indigenous Brits had a lot more children. Now they are below replacement. But, since England borrows all of its money from a private central bank and it has to pay interest on that money, the economy has to keep growing. That's very hard to do with a shrinking population. I think that's the main reason for mass migration. The British culture and way of life needs to be maintained by every generation. But the latest generations are just living off of the work of their ancestors without carrying on with their way of life, which involved hard work and sacrifice.

It would be as in the USA when areas emptied by the urban renewal and white flight of the 1960’s under Lyndon Johnson started to attract young professionals who were white. It was vigorously pushed back on and the term gentrification was used. Gentrification was seen as evil exploitation of rich against poor even if they were just trying to move in and restore properties in degraded areas where possibly their grandparents had once lived.

I grew up in the 1950s, in my neighbourhood there were still many veterans of WW1 & WW2. They were true British patriots. Sadly, the country of our forefathers is a distant memory.

I also recall a wonderful view of the city of London in the 1970s from a tower block council estate in south London. The best years of my life. The tower block has a reputation now. Drug dealers, immigrant residents, multiple child playgrounds removed.

I‘m from Germany, I went to uni in England in the late noughties and worked there for a couple of years.
I think it’s completely unacceptable and in fact madness that the English are being asked to give up their own wonderful culture and become a minority in the own country in the name of „diversity“. To add insult to injury, the public are now being gaslit into believing that anyone who notices and complains is a Far Right thug and that there’s nothing to see here at all.
I know a lot of people in Germany and across Europe who think as I do. We know the world would be a darker and grimmer place if England and the English were gone, and hence we stand in solidarity!
