this woman deserves a lifetime achievement award. for me her best work was all her pre american movies she made in hong kong. you can see a drop in her fight choreography right around 1991. had she kept making movies in hong kong along with michelle and sammo and jackie she probably could have been with michelle winning an award as well.
Agreed. All her Hollywood action movies are crap. Didn't do any justice to her expertise in martial arts.

Wow! she had only 2 fight scenes in that movie, and i think her character was over shadowed by Loren Avedon and Mathias Hues.
And to make it worse her character was killed.
That means you haven't seen the movie ,'Above the Law' or 'Wronging Rights'. I recommend it for you.

The one thing I noticed is how the martial arts scenes in her earlier movies were stellar. But later ones weren’t all that special. Her skills weren’t fully utilized in mid-1990s

Great video but I think if they're supposed to be in order there's some in the wrong place. Martial Law was her first US movie, made before Fast Getaway.
An amazing lady , she has a new movie out this year called Black Creek , technically a western , but it has martial arts included
Love Cynthia the best in HK movies. Too bad she wasn't able to convince American directors to hire HK action stunt teams to do better choreography and fighting scenes.
Sammo Hung had an US TV Series about 20 years ago, and I figured he had brought some stunt people with him that time.
