Well done finding the line for Nate to win, has to be stressful knowing after you've filmed something but haven't edited it that the comments are all just gonna be "pact of negation trigger worst content ever" but really he had the game won once Teferi resolved and he had bloom tender untapped
This episode is actually unlisted. Is that on purpose? Found the link via Twitter. I love how you guys always just let the mistakes left unedited but made the effort to talk through them instead. Good learning for the audience. Love your videos guys!
This is random, but I really dig the vibe of the blue, purple and pink lighting in the logo, end card and sometimes in the backlights for the room. Just gives off a chill vibe which fits you guys, and I dig it. Great game as always, and the discussion on the alternate line was good to hear!
Just wanted to say I love you guys and watch a lot but don't really comment often. Learning a lot from your videos and podcast! Appreciate the content! Also how you keep it fun and positive!
Najeela is definitely the best imo. It’s basically 5 color turbo ad naus with a commander that can just win by herself and goes infinite with a ham sandwich.
I have a doubt, tyler in a minute 9:17 cast a dockside but her commander does not allow cast permanent, or there is an interaction that I did not see that would allow it, other than that, great game
i was thinking the same thing, the must have skipped right over it without even realizing it. ig codie doesnt usually have to play out for this long lol
I know Sisay was the winner here but... WAS she though? Cause I'm pretty sure that looked like a Najeela win to me. I guess technically every 5c commander can play any other 5c commander and not be breaking any rules, but it still kinda looks like Najeela is supreme ruler of this particular outfit, whichever way you wanna split it.
That Counter war into a fluster then missing the pact trigger haha Thats just how amazing magic is sometimes the counter war gets good then everyone misses triggers haha
Does Bloom Tender make 5 of Najeela? Her color identity for commander is 5 -color but in game I think she’s just red? Not positive and could totally be wrong.
Color and color identity are different things. For purposes of Bloom Tender, Najeela is red and nothing else. Derevi, Najeela and Deathrite Shaman add up to five colors, though.
Not sure how color identity works here but Nate has all 5 colors with the permanents he has on board any way (teferi for UW, deathrite for BG, and najeela for R) plus all the other permanents on board.
Poor codie sucks in cedh, but I play it in casual, and it rocks there. I play codie big spells, use codie to ramp twice every turn with its effect, and then I start casting huge spells.
It was the absolute best 5c Food Chain commander for a few months after release. However, First Sliver does basically the same thing with less awkward wincons, so there's no longer any good reason to play Niv-Mizzet Reborn.
Unless I'm missing something, that Dockside at 9:15 is illegal because of Codie's static ability.
Something i really love about this channel is you honesty about mistakes and how youre always upbeat. Never fail to make me smile
I like how they back a misplay up with realistic, detailed what-if scenarios
Little misplay at 9:22, Tyler shouldn't be able to cast Dockside 'cause Codie was still in play.:p
Good catch

Good catch! It’s public now
@@PlaytoWinMTGshould have left it unlisted with that missing pact trigger 😂😂😂
It's nice to have one final episode on the final day of the year!
Looking forward to a new year of new cards and new videos from you guys! ☺
Looking forward to your comments lulu
@@PlaytoWinMTG go team valor…
Starting off 2023 with a banger from the BEST cEDH channel out there, you love to see it

Congrats on being full time Cam! I'm happy for you guys. Great channel! you guys deserve it!
Cam's "Don't call the judge" made me laugh out loud.
Great video to start the year off with guys, you make Sundays better.
Hello there.
Excited for the new year, can't wait to see what's in store.
YESSS WE CANT WAIT EITHER
I really appreciate your explanation of the proper winning line at the end, great stuff ❤ happy new year and thanks again for my favorite content!
Just wanted to say I love you guys and watch a lot but don't really comment often. Learning a lot from your videos and podcast! Appreciate the content! Also how you keep it fun and positive!
Appreciate that
I love a good ol fashioned counterspell war! Props to Nate on choosing to let Offer counter Veil.
Najeela is definitely the best imo.

I noticed that too, and I'm pretty sure that's a misplay - not that it matters at all.
That was a fun one, so much going on! Heading to check the new merch!!
Great episode and good job on finding the winning line.
My Sundays are much better knowing there is a new PTW episode. Thanks a lot!!
Relevantly, Najeela and Bloom Tender make infinite combats on their own if Bloom Tender is tapping for 5 and is attacking.
i absolutely love that dolphin coming out of banana fierce guardianship, is there anywhere i could get one?
Great vid as always, love hearing your analysis. And congrats on being full time, Cam!
Golly, your patrons are dope. Great content. Happy 2023!
Congrats on going full time Cam! Yes Nate could have still won with pact trigger
Welcome Play to Win, where we're awesome! You know what is also awesome? A video on on the best enchantress deck in cEDH.
The little Oppo scare at 1:17 is so funny and scary at the same time.
That teferi stack battle was crazy
Did you mean Cam is full time on the channel? Because if so congrats! It’s awesome seeing you guys grow something you both love!
That’s awesome- is Dylan full time as well?
Cam is full time on the channel yes! Dylan is not
No, previously he only existed while videos were being filmed but now he's a real person that exists full time.
"Don't call the Judge..." - Cam 2023 lol best line of the vid. A great way to start 2023!
Love sisay! Hopefully we wil see more of her
(And magda. Recently fell in love with the deck)
"don't call the judge" had me cracking up
That Counter war into a fluster then missing the pact trigger haha Thats just how amazing magic is sometimes the counter war gets good then everyone misses triggers haha
Play to Win on New Year's Day? Best beginning to the year
idk what it is, but i love tylers voice
Maybe u did this already, play your favorite cedh decks? Happy New Year guys , keep up the great work
Happy New Year guys! Thank you so much for this amazing year of content you have given us!
Isn't Tyler also not allowed to play dockside with Codie out? (Not that it mattered)
What is the "new rulling" u guys r talking about at 9:20?
Great video! Hope you guys have a good year.
Love playing sisay so your line or multiple lines there at the end do all check out with or without paying pact
Very fun episode. Love your content always
Happy new year fellas, vid went hard like usual
the most fookin cutee "begins" eevvvvvuuuur 💖💖💖💖💖
Kenrith the returned king obliviously. No one can compete with Kenrith.
I'm just a poor boy from a boy family...
So here's my comment and like instead!
Cam: congrats!
EXCITED
Ancient Mew from the movie theater promo as warrior tokens!?!?!
I'm a seeing this right?
I'm sure Emiel was in the Sissay deck too so he could have gotten that for mana.
Tyler shouldn't have been able to cast that dockside with his Codie out.
There was no bloom tender in the Sisay deck list. It wasn't in the considering list either.
Happy new year, guys, & fun games for all of us!
"Which Fringe cEDH deck is the best" coming soon!?!?!
4:10 yeah who reads after the first line... haha happy new year fellas.
Hope you guys had a happy new year!
what is the new pact of negation ruling that was referenced when he misses the trigger?
Hoping for something utterly ridiculous in a 5c pod
So color episodes are back? I can dig it.
Where is this new Pact of Negation rule? I couldn’t find it
Put dice on topdeck to remember the trigger guys) And Happy New Year)
This years begin is wholesome but will slowly descend into evil
B E G I N but restrained and calm
Does Bloom Tender make 5 of Najeela? Her color identity for commander is 5 -color but in game I think she’s just red? Not positive and could totally be wrong.
Color and color identity are different things. For purposes of Bloom Tender, Najeela is red and nothing else. Derevi, Najeela and Deathrite Shaman add up to five colors, though.
No, but with Darevi and Najeela out that's 4 out of 5 colors. I don't know if he had a black source out at the time tho.
Not sure how color identity works here but Nate has all 5 colors with the permanents he has on board any way (teferi for UW, deathrite for BG, and najeela for R) plus all the other permanents on board.
@@Kaethelor04 Ah I forgot about Deathrite! Yeah he had the permanents, and also Bloom Tender doesn't look at identity but base color.
This game is one of my favorites, u can still win combat damage ?
What are those dual lands Cam is using?
Can someone point out the missing pact trigger to me? The judge ruling thing specifically.
It was just a joke
Ancient mew tokens!!! 😂 love it
How can the COdie deck cast a dockside?
How did Tyler play dockside with codie out? Doesn't codie stop Permanents from being played?
Yes he can’t cast permanent spells while Codie is out so it was a miss play.
playing dockside with codie on the board ?
maybe that pact is countered by flusterstorm
Tyler play dockside with codie in the fiel..
Love Codie, built it myself. To bad It got locked outta tge game
4:28 why does Najeela do 6 damage?
What's that ruling they're talking about at 9:30 ?
I assume they're talking about tournament rules.
It was a joke
Cam gave up on full Cameron??
Poor codie sucks in cedh, but I play it in casual, and it rocks there. I play codie big spells, use codie to ramp twice every turn with its effect, and then I start casting huge spells.
What? Codie definitely doesn't suck in cEDH
Does Tyler cast a permanent spell woth Codie in play?
Dockside cast through a Codie.
yes, my girl win!
I want to play cedh but why is everyone frowning on proxies
I have never heard any cEDH players frown at proxies
@playtowinmtg where can I get proxies?
I'm learning from your mistakes too fellas don't worry about it
is wubrg niv mizzet any good?
It was the absolute best 5c Food Chain commander for a few months after release. However, First Sliver does basically the same thing with less awkward wincons, so there's no longer any good reason to play Niv-Mizzet Reborn.
Where's baby Jeebus......
Good game guys =)
Well
Now after ban list. . .
In a way, Najeela still won.
No kenrith!!!?
What hand did the Codie player keep? Besides playing mana vault, he did NOTHING all game. Also held no relevant interaction.
JUUUUUDDDDGEEEEE
codie can't cast dockside 9:20
..... Codi player played a permanent spell?
Every time someone wins it's they sound bored AF
Lol
No Kenneth? Boooo
I know it doesn't really matter. But I dont think Tyler should have been able to play dockside with codie on the field
