- Tiptoe is back in the streets! Today's block time was 35 minutes, an all-time record. He was very excited to be back. I forgot our pedometer but next time we will be tracking his steps too!
Tiptoe is a 22-year-old African Sulcata Tortoise living in Los Angeles, CA. :)

Walking back home up the driveway, his feet were making a shuffling sound like my slipper's when I drag myself into the kitchen for coffee! Even though he's a young boy, it sounded like a Grandpa's slipper's!

I was having a ho-hum day ......... until this made me laugh and be glad to be alive. Thanks. We hit 102 degrees in Pennsylvania yesterday and its now around 90 degrees. We've had a heat wave for a week now.

Wow, Tiptoe was full of speed and energy on this walk. I think he was sooo ready to see the changes and people after a long winter, quiet break. Tiptoe, you were amazing, determined and delighted your neighborhood! Nice to have had some replenishing flowers, and produce to keep up that entertaining walk. Thx, Caitlin, Grandma, and friendly handlers for taking this walk around the block. I was so happy to see how energetic Tiptoe was. And it seemed like he never broke stride from the moment he left the driveway to when he returned. Awesome!! ♥️🐢♥️
