April showers are starting to bring May flowers and no one is more excited than Tiptoe! Since he has more energy in the Spring and Summer, we decided to install security cameras in the yard to keep an eye on him while we're away.

First of all I wish everyone gave so much love to their little friends, well big friend lol. I watched the clip were you asked for ideas about tip toes yard. You mentioned putting in dirt with a clover bottom, I like camomile paths. With the insane weather we are experiencing I would worry about a huge mud bath formimg.if his current flooring is becoming to hot with crazy heat i wonder if you can design a sprinkler system reusing rain ater. How about surrounding the entire edge of his pen wiyh like a 5" lane to plant wd grasses for him to munchon and is area should get flooded sweep water to edge. How about murals showing his natural habitat. How about hanging garden sorry this was so long, tippy is so lucky to have such a loving family

I have a ring camera is Tanks house, he is a Sulcata and Michelle is a Redfoot who identifies as a cat, and they move so slow in the morning they don't trip the camera..

hahahah best way to phrase this question, they have a great memory and can recognize their owners!! They are also capable of learning "tricks" persay. They have been thought to be unintelligent but there is so much research out there that states otherwise!! I would think that environment/enrichment plays a huge role but secretly smarties

I would love him to have a little playmate but we have yet to find an available bachelorette. I don't have the space to house another tortoise but a playdate here or there would be great

I've seen cameras set up in the wild like a eagle's nest or a stream with bears catching fish being broadcast... live in real time..24/7 on UA-cam. Or even cameras in cities around the world that are broadcast in real time. Have you considered doing one for Tiptoe where people can watch Tiptoe to see what he's doing in real time??
