No lie, as soon as I saw that Baizhe straight up just attacks with a floating ice dragon and Mortefi had a skull-dragon Ult that dealt damage even after switching him off-field, all I could think about was "Those 2 plus Jiyan equals a Full-Dragon Team." I can't think of anything else for a team setup that I vibe with harder than that, especially since it only has one 5-star and two 4-stars in it. Pretty accessible right out the gate.

I’m really happy this game’s MCs turned out to be surprisingly hot potatoes that only slightly lose out to the hottest characters in the game. Makes playing them feel worthwhile.

Same. Lumine is cute/pretty and Aether is kinda cute. The Trailblazers are very meh imo. But they really spiced up the Rovers' design.

Fun fact: White tiger boy used to be more like furry shaped (like more tiger then human insted of human with funny ears) and he was completly reworked becasue fans said "yeah we don't wanna furry in game" and it's sucha shame as he has really uniqe look and model. He was even more friend shaped :D (dude had paws as foot, like uniqe model here??? IT's super cool for me to see completly diffrent model, as devs really put some extra work)

I actually prefer the new design more tbh but looking back again, the old design also cute and has the potential too!

I have a bit of experience with Kuro games (played PGR since global launch) and Yinlin reminds me so much of Vera, specifically Vera: Garnett. The ponytail, the red hair, the animations (though with Vera it matches her personality). I'm genuinely excited and looking forward to wuthering waves' release

You know what would be really good, is if the designers and artist were able to put in the charcters that couldnt Make the cut or their own o.c.'s so we could see what could have been.
If I end up playing this game, it'll be for Sanhua. I was playing Star Rail from the beginning, and Jingliu probably kept me around (as well as the interesting story), like it just takes one character to capture your attention and Sanhua is doing it for me!
Having only played to meeting scar it's a feeling like a great game
I love Yinlin so much omg to me she is S++ with white hair and blue-green hair men. Basically anybody who looks like they'd step on me 😂 Also elves are just my favorite so that's a plus too😊

I wish they could flesh out Jianxin more. I was actually expecting her to be fun, sporadic, but kind lady. But that's kinda the total opposite. It wasn't too bad cuz well she's a monk, but I really wanna see more of her story and personality. I really like her.

Completely unrelated to attraction here, just general design - Calcharo kinda just looks like someone put Sephiroth and MGS Raiden into a blender and called it a day

I am a sucker for red heads and we have a male AND female one so
great video, love the energy but man do these character designs not do anything for me. They all kinda give characters made in a character creator by a player who wanted to add as many of the accesories and tatoo options as the game let them without worrying about design balance lol (I have no bias against the game, this is just my first impression as someone who also does a lot of character design)
Honestly Jiyan literally looks like he was ai generated off of Hoyo characters, and while not *as* bad, the rest of them still hit that uncanny valley too.
Yeah do generic charaxter and give him/her a hat: peak design.
What a see from hoyofans they are a lot more critics with other developers but they eat whatever hoyo cooks like its the 8th wonder
Another thing is every new character of every gacha is a copy from gi or honkai(some really crazy like:tess from snowbreak is a copy of Lynette megalol)
I personally love baizhi,cacharo,chixia and taoqi designs they are really good and waaaaay better than gi early designs(yeah venti you ugly thing)
Ps:acheron design is really alike alpha crimson weave, should we call acheron a copy too?
I agree and disagree at the same time, for me they are way too underdesigned, the most of detail they have is a tatoo or something and looks really bland. It doesn't help most of them have little to no color and It just looks sad 😭

"Lancer from the Fate series" Yes I totally see it and Lancer had an awesome personality on top of that. Ngl i feel some of these look like rip off from other characters like Genshin i mean two of the kids look like Gaming and Nahida. I get Serproth from the guy you used as KH and Welt with his cane and hairstyle for the old man. As Jiyan yeah hes good looking but did they have to use teal again. We have Dan Heng and Xiao with teal colors and gold accents. I forgot to mention the red hair guy with the coat reminds me of FFXIII Snow which is a yuck from me.
The 2nd S tier girl, I totally loved her design the beads her tatoo and eyes. Thats about it which is a shame

@@kri1ndawn440 yeah I'm p sure they are conscious of each other. I just hope their story lore is good because so far their design aren't that good, some of them are dull in color and aesthetics looking similarly to the person next to them. Maybe I'm judging to harshly because I have played GI and HSR but I prefer HSR because it has a variety of styles not just old traditional like GI and a variety of cultured aesthetics compared to GI that is mostly Chinese ofc. So I dont think its because I'm bias over mihoyo
