I never understood why some costumers wont even try to listen when an employee is trying to explain something, but when its the manager talking they suddenly understand
i work at little Caesars, im 18 in highschool still all my coworkers are in highschool with me, this lady is screaming at me because her order is taking too long on a friday night. she demanded to talk to the manager but he specifically asked me to not bother him because we were very behind so i tried to explain that to her so she asked to cancel her order. it was an online order so i told her she needed to do that on the app and i was on the verge of tears with a quivering smile and she starts screaming at me for laughing at her ( i guess a obviously forced customer service smile when im panicking inside is me laughing) ???? then my adult manager comes because he heard the commotion and she immediately calms down ??? 😭 people are the worst actually and this is why i am back of house only now 💔
@@omegey3373lol thats just the way things are sometimes. U handled that well, dont give up. Just laugh and move on. People are weird and life is even weirder, so there’s no point in questioning it.😂
The fact that I, an absolute noob at make up techniques, would be so freaking thankful to have a professional do my make up for me 😭 You slay every look girl, I love the pink eye shadow
The first time I had my make up done by a professional , she asked me what I wanted. Then I shut the f* up , only moved when she told me and let her do her thing !!! She killed it, it exceeded my expectations
The only person who’s gone my makeup is my sister for homecoming at my school but this is exactly how retail workers should be treated especially if they’re doing your makeup since they know what you’re doing. All people have to do is tell the makeup artist what they want and then let the makeup artist do their thing. It’s not that hard.
Id literally be crying in the back probably. Not because I'd be genuinely hurt by what she had to say but because I'd be regretting all my life choices that lead me to that moment and be heavily considering putting in my 2 weeks. I can see what she said this almost made her quit. I couldn't finish out of the sliver of self respect I still have for myself. I also wouldn't trust myself to not "accidentally" poker her in the eye with a brush or pencil or something. Which could POTENTIALLY me in a LOT of trouble if it actually caused damage. So yeah that would be a nope for me 😁
Oh geez…this is why retail traumatized me. Im a guy and I pop into Sephora just to get skin care products. I didn’t know the staff also did make up for people so I have a whole new appreciation for the pain you must go through.
@@BeadedbySunset.Co19same here 😂 I can’t find next part when it comes to shorts in youtube 🤷🏻♀️ they need to comment with the link under the previous par
Not a Sephora employee or mua but had a similar experience today and it’s just so frustrating when people don’t try to be even the slightest bit understanding or act like they know better than you.
I agree. I quit a job on the spot because my coworker refused to understand or to stop acting like she knew better than me. It felt so good to walk out on her!
This is why when I go to my hairdresser (who I've been going to for 16 years) I sit down in her chair, let her know what general color I want my hair and then tell her to have fun. And I let her do her thing. I've yet to have a time where I haven't gotten compliments afterwards. It's why I pay someone to do a service for me...cause they have the training.
Naw. Manager should have kicked her out looking half done. Thats not the kind of customer you want. She will literally scare off any other customer in the store from getting their makeup done. Anyone who who sees her get up from the chair looking looking like that and screams about ow terrible your artist is isnt going to want to sit either. And not to mention it just ruins the peace of the store even if they do already get their makeup done there or arent in the market for getting their makeup done by a professional. I might leave if i heard this racket going on. And that would cut my shopping short which means less sales. Buying makeup feels like me time and this would ruin my experience.
Ban this person from the store immediately. I've got ZERO patience for people like this!!! Constantly running their mouth, refusing to listen. She can go home and do her own makeup since she thinks that she knows everything!!!
I just realized I wasn't even subscribed to your channel 😅 for some reason I kept getting your shorts across my fyp but now I am. I enjoy your videos thank you for making them!
What really sucks is being the MUA in these instances. Back when I was a hairstylist/MUA and had someone acting like that, I would want them to leave. After talking to me crazy, you think I wanna continue to service you? 😂 Like, please, go! Lol
Poor Mua... I can't understand. Look, I don't purchase a lot but when I go to Sephora. Muas always has helped me. They see your face and know what is best for it... I don't have any complaints 🤷🏼
I underpaint with my cream blush and it looks sooooo natural. I sometimes go over with a lighter powder blush, and it still just looks so nice and diffused because I have cream blush underneath
I remember doing an application and this client stopped me before I could really do anything and she was like “I don’t mean to be rude but whatever you put under my eyes looks horrible” and I just smugly smiled at her like “I didn’t apply makeup yet, it’s just eye cream” and she was so embarrassed that she was quiet the rest of the session 😂
Don’t go to the PROFESSIONALS for a service YOU want done if you’re just going to complain and micromanage said professional THE ENTIRE TIME! 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️😡😡😡
Meanwhile, I once got a makeup trial for my wedding and when I tried to ask why she was going so heavy-handed with some of the products, she snapped at me! A simple “it’s a bit more blush because of how flash washes you out. It may look like a lot here but it will not look that way in the pictures” would’ve been fine (the MUA I actually went with told me that). It’s kind of wild how these things can go 🤦🏻♀️
I'm a dummy at make-up. The only thing I would ask about the products is products adapted to a very sensitive skin. Other than that? Do your magic, Ma'am!
I hate when people come to us and want our professional help snd opinion and then they get mad at everything we do. They think they know more than us, yet still harrass us to help them. I will never understand. I had a customer who wanted to look like the Facebook ads for Il Makiage..... But also didn't want to see the foundation. Everything made her unhappy and all she did was talk about how she still sees it....We ended up at skin tints AND SHE STILL SAID SHE COULD SEE IT. MIND YOU IT WAS THE SUMMER FRIDAYS TINT. IT DISAPPEARS. YOU CAN'T SEE ANYTHING. It's MAKEUP. You're not going to look like heavily filtered and photoshopped images.
The big secret is ….. none of this is really necessary. It’s just the makeup industry trying to stay relevant. You can “contour” with a slightly darker cheek colour than your own to get the same effect. Contouring, is a huge scam. You can do it at home. About the only thing most people need makeup artists for is for eye makeup or for professionals who need dramatic makeup such as models and actors.
@@Hereallthetimethis is such a weird take. Like not everyone has the makeup products. Or have done makeup at all that’s why they go to the artist. I hate people who try to do sound right. Because the process they describe is exactly what makeup artists do. I’m highly confused
