Spider-Man 2: Enter Electro é o segundo jogo do Homem-Aranha lançado para PlayStation, sequência de Spider-Man. Nesse jogo o Homem-Aranha tem que enfrentar os vilões Shocker, Homem-Areia, Cabeça de Martelo, Lagarto e Electro.
o jogo possui duas versões, devido aos ataques terroristas de 11 de setembro de 2001. A versão utilizada é a original q saiu em agosto de 2001. conforme houve os ataques, uma versão posterior foi feita em outubro daquele mesmo ano, mudando o nome de algumas fases e também cortando pequenas partes de algumas cutscenes, uma vez q o jogo tem fases com aviões, explosões etc. A ultima fase do jogo por exemplo q acontece nas torres gemeas, foi alterada por um único arranha céu na versão pós 11 de setembro.

Getting remakes of all the games in 1 or 2 years will be really awesome for all of us to enjoy the nostalgia remade in 4k, 60 fps locked or variable.

To this day I'm still disappointed they didn't make a 3rd game with The Green Goblin as the main villain.
Yeah spiderman 3 would have been the best. The villains could have been green goblin, hob goblin, vulture, kraven, chameleon, the beetle and possibly morbious

I have the first game and am an expert at it, but never this one. Only played the demo. Really wish I have Spider Man 2. Those two PS1 games are the best Spidey games ever made.

Anybody else feel like they were trying to set a darker tone with this one? Like with the music and area backgrounds?
yes, this game is definitely darker, with the villains almost succeeded in killing a harmless pilot in their attempt to delay Spidey, Electro and Shocker are a lot smarter here than in comic books and cartoon series, The Lizard (Curt Connors) being paranoid that he sets his lab security system on highest level with scary looking robots and so on...
Several 9/11 unintentional (Too Soon) only made this game darker than it was meant to be.
I like how you can just knock people to their deaths in this game.

The cheat code for this game is 'Aunt May' it unlocks everything.
It's as Aunt May would lecture "Everyone has a hero inside us"

This game was my life, i remember i was stuck on the air hanger level. For the life of me i couldn't stop that plane, ended up blowing the damn thing up every time. Came back to the game a couple of months later and finally noticed that the webbing stops it.

Literally just spent 3 hours watching the play through of the previous game and this one. I’d be lying if I said it wasn’t an emotional experience. These games were some of the fondest memories of my childhood
No lie i teared up i played this was back when it camr out im 33 now. Man time flys i soent so much time on this game. One of my tops for The orginal playstation. This was so nastolgic for me ❤

The tone of this game was so much darker and kind of eerier than the original PS1 Spider-Man game. I remember playing this late at night and getting a kinda X-Files vibe

Most of the actual game could fit in a 32 MB cartridge (maybe 64? Not sure), as seen by the N64 port of Spider-Man 2000. Most of the CD was full with the FMVs.

I think I was around 11 yrs pld when I played this game for the first time. If my memory serves me right, the first Raimi' s Spiderman had been released ,just few months back . Soon after the Ps2 videogame came out. At that time I still had my loyal PSX pocket and I.was after a game about Spidey . I never truly liked Spiderman until I watched the very first movie.

I remember this game has debug mode cheat. What i can remember most about that are all the bananas in the level where you chase the train. Theres even a giant banana in one of the train cars. Auntmay is the equivalent of the first game's Eel nats. Really nostalgic game

Año 2004 estaba en tercer grado con 8 años iba a los locales que alquilaban play y con 15 ctvs alquilaba de 5 a 10 minutos de juego, la mayor parte transcurrida entre ver la presentación y descubrir como manejar porque todo estaba en ingles, solo saltaba entre edificio y edificio cayendome pero me gustaba porque me gustaba ver al hombre araña en 3d, que tiempos

Both Spider-Man games on PS1 were such a HUGE part of my childhood. I had the Pal version of Enter Electro and half of the cutscenes were missing for some reason.
Probably because hackers used a compress ROM for putting all the game into 650 - 700 MB pirate CD-ROM. And compressed roms eliminate FMV's and maybe reduce audio quality
I need to see both these masterpieces get their remasters 😭😭😭

If you ask me, Rino Romano is by far one of the most underrated and not well-known voice actors of all time, especially with how he voiced Spider-Man and Batman in the cartoons and video games, and he deserves more recognition. He was really good at making them sound distinguished from each other that it sucks DC and Marvel haven't used him for any more Spider-Man and Batman projects after his shows ended (didn't help with the fact that they were sadly overshadowed by their more popular and well-known predecessors: Spider-Man the Animated Series and Batman the Animated Series), and I guess they just don't want to cast an underrated voice actor in a lead role because if they do, most people would probably be like "Hey it's that voice actor from that tv show nobody liked! I don't want to buy this product if that person's in it!" And seeing how greedy most companies are, I guess they just go with an overrated and overused voice actor to bring in more viewers so they can have more money unfortunately. 😥😥😥
When I was in middle school, I began reading the Spider-Man comics in Chris Barnes voice because I loved watching the 1994 series and enjoyed his performance there, but when I was in 12th grade I watched a video about the voice actors of the 2000 PS1 Spider-man game here; ua-cam.com/video/QH1kQWT-Wfc/v-deo.html&ab_channel=PopBw%C3%B3y; one UA-camr, Wrath642, had said that Rino was the best voice for Peter as he makes him young enough to believe he's a young adult, but mature enough to believe he can handle the task of being a superhero. He said that other versions tend to sound too immature.
When I rewatched the video I realized he was right, Rino really did sound like what Peter would sound like in the comics; socially awkward and dorky, but brave and confident when needed to be, and captured his intelligence perfectly on various levels that it's just sad he hasn't been brought back to voice Spidey yet. He did sound a little too cool, which we can agree doesn't feel like Spider-Man, but that's mainly with the script he was given that he had to give that sort of voice to the character, and I feel like Rino got another Spider-Man TV show, then this time with the right script and voice direction, he could perfectly capture Peter's awkwardness, shyness of being a wallflower, and his heroic nature very well that maybe he could have been seen by many fans, critics, and even Marvel themselves, as the Kevin Conroy of Spider-Man (and I could have seen that as well).
I'm glad you're one of the people who like him as Spider-Man because I would just love to hear him come back and voice the wall-crawler again (along with the Dark Knight himself), and this time get more love and respect he deserves. I don't like it when people say he wasn't a good Spider-Man when to me, he IS Spider-Man in terms of voice acting (like how I consider Tobey Maguire Spider-Man in terms of live-action; though I don't mind Garfield and Holland).

So i downloaded the first game just completed it and it was amazing to relive the childhood times. We never knew there was a sequel to the game. Its depcompressing as i type. Im so unbelievably excited. This game will be brand new for me as well as old.

I always found the background music on the first stage to be eerie and creepy as hell, seems more like it would've fit better in a horror game than an action one. Fun game though.

I can't believe there was a second one. Ps1 was my first gaming system, eventually my parents bought me Sam Rami's Spiderman 2 for Xbox, now grown up I bought myself a Ps4 and recently beat Spiderman. The Spiderman games are definitely one of my favorites.
