I just flew to Taipei from San Francisco and back last month on EVA Airways. The increased legroom of Premium Economy is a real plus, especially the 13+ hour westbound flight (I got near 6.5 hours of sleep).
I encountered the same WIFI issue on my flight from SFO to TPE last month, despite being in Business Class. Although I paid for the WIFI service, I was unable to fully access the internet, and the connection repeatedly disconnected. It wasn't just me; all the passengers in Business Class had this problem. Even on the return flight from TPE to SFO, the same issue occurred. Additionally, the USB outlet was loose. EVA Air needs to replace the plane with a newer one.
@@sfbatraveler the thing for me is, the only real reason to want to board early while flying economy is because the overhead space fills up fast. At least while flying PE you're pretty much guaranteed to have overhead space above your seat, so you can still board 'last minute' relatively safely. It's either 20 minutes waiting on the plane for everybody else to board, or an extra 20 minutes noodling around in the terminal. Unless you're flying F or J there's really no benefit to boarding early (aside from the aforementioned overhead issue in Y class).

@@Sacto1654 same, I got roughly 6 hours of sleep. to me it’s really worth it, especially if you can snag the bulkhead.

@@yiw2587 unfortunately yes, it’s very slow and expensive. but wait, you really have to pay for Wi-Fi in Business? that’s a rip-off lmao
@@sfbatraveler No free internet for business class on Eva!
@@yiw2587 yikes. even Starlux offers free Wi-Fi in Premium Economy!

Mantap bang,Rutenya Rawan banget sama Jetlag ini..
well yang rawan justru rute sebaliknya wkwkwk
its better to take the morning or noon flight, less transfer people and more comfortable, both LA and San francisco have these
@@liangxuanwang6392 well yes BR7 is a great option if you don’t have a connection
No priority check-in & boarding? That sucks. The flight experience looks nice, though!
@@a90206 yep. that’s quite egregious and a rather big fail in my book🥴
It would be great to include the price difference between economy and economy premium and business and premium economy
@@Cyclotreker the ratio is about 1:2:4
Roughly $800 for Economy - $2200 for Prem Econ - +$5000 Business class
What is the "One Big Flaw" in the title?
@@sfvoyage the very slow Wi-Fi. my bad, it’s mentioned in the next EVA video instead.
WOW premium boards 4 out of 5 lol
@@MarioMario-hs1bj correct, the difference is only on board. PE and Y passengers are treated the same way on the ground.

@@spacemanspiff33 well for me, I always like to board early because it's easier to film😆

Could be a lot better for the price.
