Skimming: Skimming is a kind of reading in which you just focus on the main idea of the text. You just grab the idea that what have been discussed.
Scanning: scanning mean you just scan the text. You just pick out the main points from the text. It’s a kind of quick reading.
Intensive Reading: it’s a kind of reading in which you read with a complete focus. You need a full concentration while this kind of reading. The purpose of this reading is to grab the information from the text.
Extensive Reading: The purpose of this reading is to pass your time. you do not need a full concentration for extensive reading.
