@@mortezasafaei2017 The plastic quality is not really good especially when the figure has quite a few fragile plastic connections instead of metal connections. Hence, if you plan to play with the figure a lot or to transform it a lot, it may be better to wait for another one. But, if you just want to mostly display him and have minor posing activities, he is quite decent considering that it might be the only Drift figure at this MPM scale for a long time.
@@mortezasafaei2017 I’m actually not so sure about the Metagate Drift since I have never owned it. But, bc the Metagate is the original version of this mold with double or triple the price of this one, I’ll expect its quality to be better
I agree! This is one of the rare down-scaled cases that we’ve ever had. Hopefully we’ll see more down-scaled figures in the future to match either the MPM line or the Studio Series line!
You should try putting super glue on the sword tabs and let it dry to make it a bit thicker, and if it's too thick, you just file the glue down a bit. That's just what I do with my tabs and thought it would help. :)
That’s a really good tip! My madness drives me to super-glued the swords permanently to the hands actually 😂. I’m gonna need to remove the hands somehow if I need to transform the figure one day
@TranKollector lol, that's one way to do it, maybe you can remove the glue with goof off or something and just thicken the tabs of the swords, but I haven't tried the goof off stuff because idk how it reacts with the plastic
@@jcarra3379 Yeahhh, those washed-off super glue solution hasn’t worked for me yet. But I’m okay with this guy holding two swords all the time now. He looks awesome with weapons
@TranKollector yeah, I want to try the solutuons but I feel it will melt the plastic. And yeah I'm ok with parts forming as long as it makes one of the modes look better
@@jcarra3379 Yesss, and the paint can be washed off by many of those solutions too. I learned it the hard way with my T-10S Starscream. At least this guy can reliably wield his swords now
@@robbievanleeuwen355 Unfortunately yes, I tried both of the tabs on each sword, but even the bigger tabs didn’t stay tightly in the holes on the hands of the figure. I kind of have Drift wielding both of the weapons on display now, but they are barely held by the fingers wrapping around the swords and the tabs.
@@robbievanleeuwen355 Yesss, at least Drift looks really good next to Knight Optimus and Barbarian Megatron! I wish the tabs and holes on Drift were as good as the ones on the BS-02 Megatron and BS-03 Optimus tho.

Hand tabs for the weapons can be fixed with thickening agent that helps him hold the weapons other then i think its worth it

Great review. Also each sword fits into a specific hand. So one sword could fit in the left hand but not on the right and vice-versa

That’s great! I’m honestly glad that it is smaller tho, so that it scales better within my collection. The overall joints are pretty tight too
Really hope we get a third party crosshairs
I hope so too! Crosshairs’ design is badass with the trenchcoat! It’d be awesome for us to fulfill the AOE/TLK Autobot cast someday
