I’ll gladly accept a jet carrier as part of the combaticon team. If Bruticus is coming back like Motormaster with a half complete combiner, might as well turn the trailer into a whole new character. He can be made of feet, hands, crotch/chest and scaffolding
Im actually surprised the real combaticons dont have an attack boat or aircraft carrier. Like he or she could be a weaponizer and form the hands and feet for the limbs or be a gun.
Update to all who have commented. Just got an idea how it could work. Make them a weaponizer attack boat similar to energon mirage. Front of the boat split and form the feet of bruticus and the boat can have a missile launcher rack that split and turn into the hands. The rest of the boat could fold out and be the chest plate or turn them into a target master partner for the combine form
You're supposed to extend the torso of the arm guys and _collapse_ their legs. It gives him one solid elbow instead of the split leg design from older 3P combiners

it doesn't bother me now, but as a kid it bothered me that a SPACE SHUTTLE is the same size as a jeep...and then a Aircraft Carrier??? this would have driven me insane.
I want one with less flashy colors though. Maybe a G2 deco will do? Purple fighter jet, black battleship, white space shuttle, sky-blue helicopter, red armored jeep, green light tank, and yellow missile launcher truck.

These were often packed together with what I believe were Machine Robo/Gobot molds, inexplicably enough. I remember having ones that transformed into a helicopter, a hydroplane and a military vessel of some sort (the latter I distinctly remember not transforming thanks to being downscaled lol). Anyway, this set is kind of like a premium version of that.
This makes me think of a team of young Autobots (because of the bright colors) that can combine. I e been watching it on eBay and had been hesitant to pull the trigger on it but I think I'm going to get it.

It's funny. In the directions it's shows both the collapsed legs and the extended legs. Fiddling around with it the collapsed legs look way better. I'll get a short up later showing them off.
How much did you pay for yours? This looks like its decent quality for what it is but I don't that being the case when it costs £14. Core class costs more then that and you can even get a burger meal for that much these days.
I think this guy is rad I just ordered him I think the 2 additional bots gives him a more unique feel than all the other big middle guy 4 small guy combiners and the colors give more of a autobot/good guy feel

@@alumlovescake okay so this guy came in and I’m really impressed the individual bots are a tad bigger than my other legend scale guys so the combined mode towers over them, I don’t like how the blue jets wings plug into the red truck to make the chest the ports seem too small, the individual guys are stable enough but the looseness does add up in the combined mode in some parts, I don’t think the space ship should hold the gun it’s noticeably heavier than the helicopter and the helicopter can hold the gun up no problem, I also prefer the built in elbows they have plastic ratchets and look better than using the legs of the smaller bots, I’m no quality or accuracy snob I have fun changing robots that make big robot really satisfied with the set

Why would a giant aircraft carrier shrink down to merge with other vehicles that are like ants too it ? Even with the original bruticus size wise it would have made more sense to make the space shuttle the torso and the jeep should have been REPLACED with a larger military vehicle , like a tracked rocket launcher or similar sized mini attack submarine
I think it's because I'm one of the only people to actually review them. As opposed to literally hundreds of videos of an official TF figure. My sentai and non-tf videos have always done better than the TF vids.

I would say that really only vortex and brawl are "iron factory esque". Most of their transformations and looks are really far from how iron factorys. Especially swindle, his transformation, head, and design look nothing like iron factory
That’s a shame. He looks really good and if one might be well adept at air brushing, he could go to his G1 colors. Guess we just stick with, and continue to wait, for FansToys to complete him.
The only thing I cringe with this set is the scale of all the figures. I mean, the aircraft carrier is smaller or the same size as the helicopter, and jet. The fire engine is even larger than the aircraft carrier lol. You would think the aircraft carrier would be a huge piece or the center piece of Bruticus if anything. That’s why this is a hard pass for me. But their individual robot mode looks fantastic regardless.
I got this set the other day. It took way too much effort to get the wings to plug into the red guy. The holes are too small and the positioning doesn't help. Also, the instructions are terrible because they're too small and misleading. It's a double-sided sheet that's not even Letter size.
I'm not sure, but it looks like the feet on the not-Swindle, seem upside down in vehicle mode, have you tried rotating them so the open area (normally the underside) is pointed towards the bed of the vehicle there? Overall, looks like an interesting set, i may have to pick one up at some point

Core Class Volcanicus has the same problem with the weak shoulder pegs -- the arms just droop after connecting the limbs.

Those combiner ports are just pegs... They could break or loosen over time.

Just spent an hour messing with this guy. Pretty cool figure, had to tighten some screws and pack one of the ankle hinges but yeah, love it.
