You’re looking into it incorrectly, I met so many super skilled local DJs playing vinyl and they are not even using social sites, they are here for the music, not for the fashion or subscribers, I’m not saying these two girls are bad, don’t take me wrong 🙂
I truly don’t understand this discussion at all. How is a knob coming out of its place determine someone’s professionalism? Mind you it happens all the time with equipment which are regularly used (especially during long festivals). They are not hard stuck to the mixer, technicians take them of all the time to clean the equipment during maintenance.. Also it didn’t affect the set in anyway, you guys are just hating for the sake of hating. If you really want to criticise you can talk about the failed switch technique around 8:15. Apart from that she rocked it
This kind of discussion about "what is professional" was not the vibe that I waited for 😵💫. My comment was a bit of tongue in cheek. Little did I know that up next is a discussion about how a knob should be turned. Or also how tracks should be switched, transitioned what not.
Who cares about whether each transition was as perfect as some of us bedroom DJs claim to would have done them in their comfy home. Without rain, freezing cold and after twelve re-recordings. I enjoyed the set, I love the energy of the music and of the two vibing. Simple as that. Thank you, Shanti and Peach.
