This is a top notch DJ skill demonstration. Perfect mix, perfect selection, perfect connection with the crowd, perfect dance moves and perfect crowd. It’s the returning to dance floor that we deserve after surviving the pandemic. Big kudos to Eris and her pal Octo. You just got it girls.

I understand how far djing has come. But to be fair the skill it takes to be creative on vinyl is unparallel. The dj has to be totally emersed in their craft. Not relying on buttons and sequencers. Just their ear, creativity and skill. God bless vinyl

This is a big debate I have I'm vinyl only man myself had cdjs twice and they just sat there after using them for a while so I sold them again couldn't get into them at all
Words like this in the UA-cam comments section gives me hope and inspiration: i. that there are people that can still HEAR and appreciate this & ii. to go on a vinyl diet myself! 🙏

Came into this completely blind, just wow... She's got the groove, impeccable mixing, track selection is on point and especially, is in complete control over the crowd. What a pleasure to have listened to this. Oh, and to the girl with the yellow top on the right, I like your style, you go girl!

Best set I've heard in a very long time. I'm blown away. Technically, so on point. Song choice and progression is masterful. And her physical energy and presence is enthralling. I could watch her DJ all day. DJs are after all performers, and to see someone having such a good time while they do it is intoxicating and rare.
Eris is in a league of her own, the command she has over the turntables is awe inspiring. Bravo!!

One of the best live sets I've watched for a while. Seriously good track choice, brilliant use of samples cutting in, and huge energy with the crowd. What an experience it must have been to be there!
This is by far the best vinyl DJ set in the last 15 years. Simple and very effective. This is the definition of " Less is MORE"
Wow, I've seen Eris Drew a lot (Having lived in Chicago since 2003). Her energy at Movement this year was great. Seeing her mix here is impressive. Skills on display!

One of the few times I was able to watch an entire Boiler Room dj set. Great music and a crazy good dj that brings it together! This is why dj'ing exists.

@@kuvalautalainen Sick DJ it seems. Somehow I knew this set was going to be good. I used to hear many Pete Tongs Essential Mixes (93-98) on UK BBC Radio One. Forunner was a tune in one of his live 96 mixes.

Mixing this cleanly on vinyl is hard enough at the best of times, but live, at Dekmantel, with the cameras rolling, is seriously impressive.

Much respect for Eris! Her talent, mixing and selecting, is flawless. For me, one of the best nowadays. Track at 6:00 is Lemon 8 - The Bells of revolution. Such a finesse from Eris. Track included in of my favourite compilations of all time: Alcântara Mar Vol. 1.
