There is no moral difference between a cat and a chicken. Both have the same capacity to suffer, feel pain, feel happiness. Both are sentient beings. They're emotionally intelligent creatures that can feel pain and joy and suffer depression and morning when someone in their life dies. Even when all their other needs are met (food, shelter, affection, etc), they still MORN the loss of those they care about. People think that animals are dumb, unintelligent, and just a step up from a "moving rock", but they're so much more than that. Every one of them is an individual with their own feelings, preferences, and personalities. All animals. People prefer to pretend otherwise so they don't feel so bad about paying for their lives to be ended for a meal. A meal that they'll forget about the next day. Animals deserve much more than to end up as poo in your toilet from a five minute meal that you barely remember. Stop paying for the suffering and death of animals - keep them off your plate and chose the vegan option.
The kitten analogy is not far off since the animals we eat are babies. They have been manipulated to grow huge very fast, especially chickens but they are baby animals.
Melanie Joy is a psychologist and it is Important that animal advocates also be psychologists. We have to be aware of human nature and psychology to best help animals. For example, making people feel guilty is counterproductive, it makes them resent us and resist change. Psychology research has shown this. We need to find ways to praise people for the good they do and encourage them.

All animals sentient beings. They all deserve to live out their lives to the fullest!!
That’s something we should fight for REGARDLESS our children is going to school or not because his these kids are eating does affect each and everyone of us. They are growing to contribute more to climate change because of being carnist..
But the other reason we need to address the schools to have plant-based option is that by now it’s discrimination. Everyone by now know that plant-based is a big thing now it’s not in hiding. It’s no longer d unknown. So why would they continue to feed the carnist but make it to where the plant-based kids have to bring their own food. THAT IS discrimination.
It should be fair for all. If the carnist do not have to bring their own food because they are being fed their choice then plant-based dieters shouldn’t have to bring their own food either. There should be plenty of options for them as well.

"The idea that some lives matter less, is the root of all that is wrong with the world." Some humans are treated like their lives do not matter as much based on their economic situation, their country of origin, or their skintone.
And some animals are treated like their lives aren't worth as much based just on how humans feel like using them. We love dogs and cats, but slaughter trillions of animals every year just because we like the taste of their flesh. We condemn other cultures for eating cats and dogs, but then we turn around and slaughter countless pigs, chickens, cows, etc. We pretend there's a big difference between dogs and pigs, cows, and chickens so that we can feel better about paying for them to be killed. And for what? Five minutes of taste pleasure, just to poo them out later.
We take everything from them, all they have in the world is their little lives, their little bodies, and we rip that away from them for taste pleasure and poop them out and flush them down the toilet. It's so needless and wrong. We don't need to eat animals to survive, or even thrive - all that suffering and death is unnecessary. Not to mention the MASSIVE impact that eating animals has on our environment, deforestation, and climate change.

Can u guys tell vegetarians to go vegan its not helping its the same thing the milk is still taken away from the baby cow!,!also please ask people to not even go into non vegan restaurants cause that is still supporting non veganism
