Okay. In the follow up there needs to be something on the fact that the holiday mourning Charles becoming king has changed from being a national holiday to being a public holiday which means that places that are usually allowed to work during a public holiday will still be allowed to be open. Not sure how it is being done outside of Victoria. Oh and Carn the Pies.

Are you in one of these jurisdictions? In Victoria, newly appointed silks could elect to be SC or QC. I believe most silks in Victoria are now known as KCs, having previously chosen QC rather than SC. That’s certainly the case in my area of law.
