If Hindu sages say that the divine is within, shouldn't the divine voice be already within? Wouldn't then manifesting the divine voice be more alike restoration rather than trained acquisition? I'm more used to singing Western music though I'm very familiar with Indian music too. If I learn swaras, will trying out the same with DoReMe be fine and enable me to be proficient in both.

2. Standing notes.
3. Train your voice early in the morning like vocal exercises etc.
