Wide Open Barracuda Fishing (Limits) | Southern California Fishing. In this video, I go on a 3/4 extended fishing trip aboard the Patriot with my buddy, Kamran, out of daveys locker in Newport Beach. While doing so, we fished over a hidden kelp structure called the "Horseshoe" which is an area located between Long Beach and Palos Verdes. There were a lot of barracuda in the area and all of them appeared to be very massive. Overall, the fishing was very solid despite windy conditions and I was able to catch my limit! Awesome video and it's pretty cool that you got your limit! How long did it take?

I limited up in about an hour or so. The barracuda were everywhere, biting every bait we casted out, but a lot of lost lines occurred with the barracudas sharp teeth and sometimes they just nibbled at the bait. I'm glad I got my limit though!
